Achla Designs 32" Pole for Pole Birding System

This was ordered along with the auger base and 4-hole bracket. This absolutely satisfied my need of a sturdy and sqirrel inaccessible bird feeder. I expect it will also withstand the elk and moose that occasionally visit. It assembled easily and I have since contacted Achla Designs about the possibility of an extension if I should need it. This item is essential if you need a pole to secure your Achla bird feeder. This is pecifically designed to take care if ground installation. The item is a little pricey, however, it works with other available components. I highly recommend this item. great quality, you will be happy , just order it.

I used this 32 inch pole along with a 24 inch extension along with the auger to extend my Bride's lighthouse birdhouse above the ground.

It does not fit my umbrella stand. I will need to make modifications to make it fit, sort of.

The main pole does not fit snugly enough on the round base for use on a deck or flat surface. It doesn't remain plumb when you place anything on the pole hangers. So, will try drilling a hole through the shaft and install a bolt and see if that helps to tighten it up.

The flange on this pole doesn't fit securely over the Achla Corkscrew In-ground Pole Base rendering the pole system useless.

This product was purchased to lengthen the overall height for a Cardinal nesting box platform. The extension is well made and fit together effortlessly with the other components. I would recommend this product.
