154827601/809006501 / 154701001 AP2U REPLACEMENT FOR KENMORE & FRIGIDAIRE DISHWASHER DOOR SEAL KIT

We bought a new home and the dishwasher, a Frigidaire Gallery model FGHD2465NF1A leaked upon home inspection. Owners threw in this unit with the home rather than fix it. I bought this door seal kit in an attempt to save myself 4-$700 on a new unit. So far we have run this Frigidaire and no leaks. Completely dry. Installation was not as easy as some have reported. I took the entire door off of the spring loaded hinges to make 100% sure the inner seal was seated correctly. I didn’t feel comfortable with the methods shown on YouTube. So I made the job harder than it may have needed to be but in the end I am 100% sure the door seal is fully seated in the intended channel. This channel cannot be seen if door is left on. You are left guessing and hoping it’s installed correctly. I am pretty savvy when it comes to repairs, maintenance and home renovation. I would say the installation is of moderate difficulty for and average DIY’er if you have assistance. If attempting alone I would say is highly difficult if removing door from tightly sprung hinges as I did.

Does not stay where it should...pops out every time you open the dishwasher.

This part for my dish washer did exactly what it was supposed to do. It sealed around the door so that water would not leak out. I had to watch a video on YouTube on how to install it but that worked out fine.

Rubber doesn't stay put sticks to door so pulls out when opened. Parts are as described.

Easy to install and now the floor stays dry when we run the dishwasher.

Took less than 10 minutes to replace without any tools. No more dishwasher door leak just like that. Highly recommend this kit.

Very easy installation and solved my dishwasher leak in minutes. I didn’t install the bottom gasket, but did the rubber and little splash guards and the leak stopped.
