So this little guy DOES work well! Follow the proper directions. It will stop working if the temperature gets too high so this should be monitored; this is also explained in the directions. We unfortunately did have to return our little fan but the manufacturer was great and gave us a refund (without trouble) since they couldn't replace the item seeing as how I had purchased from a 3rd party seller. I would recommend the product though. It does disperse the hot air quite well even if it doesn't seem like it at the time. Once you don't have it, you'll notice the difference. For the most part it is pretty quiet, hardly hear it. BUT if you are like me and are bothered by even the smallest of noises, you will hear the sound of the fan spinning. Again, it is really faint but fair warning to the sensitive ears out there. I should also share(in case anyone needs to know) that we had chosen this mini fan to fit "on" our Wiseway Pellet stove, which is shaped very differently from the normal stove. We sat the fan on one of the slanted parts and it fit great, nor did it slide.

I bought this small model because my wood stove is half in my old fireplace opening. I was worried about clearance. It does work but you want it at back of stove to blow across the hot surface. But now I want a big one.

This product was definitely a lot smaller then I imagined but overall worked amazing during our camping trip. We used it on a portable heater and instead of all the heat going up, the fan pushed the heat out towards where people were sitting. It cools down really quickly and if you by accident touch the fan while it is moving it stops(with kids, that was one of my main concerns). Noise level is extremely quiet. Definitely recommend it.

It's hard to give this a rating. Does it work? Yes if you consider it actually operating as working. Does it distribute heat from the stove? No. It's too small. I tried using this on my tent stove and yes it does operate when heated. However, the heat from the stove just passes by the fan because it doesn't move the air fast enough. So, the fan will sit and spin but the hot air passes it right by. So, if it does this on a medium size tent stove...I know for sure it will do it on a small/medium sized house stove. I recommend passing on this one and getting a regular one. I really wish this one could move some air, but it just doesn't.

It's a nice small fan that I got to help circulate heat around my ice fishing hub. Size was definitely a factor, since I didn't want to haul out a large fan. This one fit the bill perfectly, nice an small so it doesn't take up much room, but still powerful enough to move some air. It is incredibly quiet, started up in seconds, and I could feel the air moving from across the hub. When the heater shut off, it only took a couple of minutes for the fan to cool down enough to shut off, plenty quick enough so I could get packed up without having it still running.

Does not use electricity and is quiet

I have this fan in my off-grid build and it sits on top of the woodstove. It runs quiet and does a decent job moving air around. I was hoping the amount of air moved would be more noticeable but does seem to make a positive difference. It also comes in handy for keeping an eye on the status of the fire. If it starts spinning slower, it's time to load up the stove.

Very quiet and definitely makes a difference in getting the heat farther in a bigger room, you do have to make sure you have it pointed in the direction you want more heat to go to really see the difference. I would definitely buy again but maybe a bigger style.

These work well, would prefer a larger size but I had limited space on top of my wood heater so invested in two (one either side). Love the fact that they are completely silent.
