I don't have any calibrated weights to check it against but it seems to measure reliably, not giving any sort of flutter while weighing nor fluctuations between repeatedly weighing the same object.It's kinda small, and now it's obvious to me now that it's best for putting food directly on top of it and then wiping it down as opposed to putting it into a separate container and then weighing it. A full sized dinner plate occults the display completely. A small dessert plate still covers the utter majority of the screen, making me somewhat wish for a pullout display. Perhaps a small plastic bowl would do as a vessel for measuring if you wanted one.It certainly does wipe down clean. And it also does cut a handsome figure when displayed out on the counter-top and if you absolutely had too, its low profile allows it to fit easily into drawers. The only fault I could find with it aesthetically is that the tempered glass top allows one to easily see all the dust that settles on it. Wipe it down every now and then!The display is the blue as is shown in the picture and with very good contrast I might add. It's built in such that its clearest when viewed a few inches away from the device. Hovering over it like a crane is not a very good idea and the display is impossible to read at all from a full arm's distance so if you need to glance over it and be someplace else at the same time this probably won't work for you.It's inexpensive at less than 20 bucks and since it does have a higher weighing capacity at 11lbs than some at twice the price it is an excellent value. In conclusion this is one of those products that I'm happy to have dug though a great many similar on Amazon to find.

Works great, looks great, no complaints! It's easy to use (just a couple of buttons) and it's very nice to be able to easily toggle between settings with the buttons on the top of the scale. It fits nicely on my kitchen counter and it looks awesome, too. It's not an awkward white or stainless thing that looks out of place, it's a nice sleek addition to my kitchen gadgets. It's not as sensitive when you get down to under an ounce but that's to be expected. I've had no issues with any recipes and anything that I've portioned out has been within 1 when compared to the average number of servings listed on the package. Only issue was that the first one came completely smashed. Not sure if that was an amazon thing or a mail thing but it was replaced quickly and easily. That's the risk you take with a glass scale like this but the one that showed up in one piece has been great for us.

Arrived promptly via USPS. An exceptional value. Scales are very nice looking, work well, and come with one coin style battery, (#CR2302-included), which allows for an ultra thin design. Being tempered glass it may break if dropped but that also makes them scratch resistant and easy to wipe clean. At under $5 each they are an exceptional value with all the features of similar scales selling for three to four times the price. I use this for weighing my protein shake in the morning and also as a scale for measuring package weight for postage. It has done very very well for the most part. Sometimes the scale will freak out and switch units, add a random tare, turn off and on without warning. I've found that if I take out the battery and put it back in, it solves the problem and it continues to work for a long time again before it freaks. It's only slightly frustrating, but not too bad, and for a $10 scale, I don't mind a little wonkiness!

Love this little scale. Easy to operate and has the three most common scales that you'd likely use in the kitchen (grams, ounces, and pounds). I use mine for home brewing. Large enough to hold a large bowl and several pounds of grain or an ounce of hops. Description says it can measure up to 11 lbs (which is a lot for a scale this size). Low profile design allows it to be tucked away discreetly behind other items on my counter. Glass surface is easy to clean, though the black paint/coating on the underside of the glass seems to scratch somewhat easily. Auto shut-off to conserve battery, rubberized feet so that it doesn't slide. Very nice.

I bought this for weighing grams pretty precisely, but it turns out it won't register 0-3 grams, I'll put product (dye powder) on the tared scale with some parchment paper, then I pour on. I kept pouring and pouring and it still said 0, then all of a sudden, it said 4g. I took some off, still read 4g. I took more off, more than half that was there, still 4g, then it said 0g. So I tried again, nothing.... nothing... nothing.... 4g. Really frustrating when you need exactly 1g of something. I tried not taring the scale, so there would be more than 4g already on it and the same thing. Doesn't register minute gram differences which is what I needed it for. I would not recommend or buy again.

Accurate and easy to use. Mine came with the battery but I ordered extras. Only complaint...it's hard to get an accurate read while measuring. Meaning, when adding an ingredient you need to add a little then stop and wait. Sometimes it skips ahead too much and I have to take everything off to get an accurate read. But for the price, it serves my purpose.PS-this is a very flat, glass topped scale and attractive. It has the ability to measure something with a container and you can measure grams and ounces.
