I've used this with my aperture 200x twice now and it is plenty bright and soft and covers the subjects face awesomely. I have not put the grid in yet but when I do I feel I won't be disappointed.

Excellent Bowens Light Modifer
The Aputure Light Dome II is an excellent modifier for a Bowens compatible continuous LED light source like the 120d Mark II. It’s well made and easy to setup, and comes with a great carry/storage bag. The double diffusion and light grid provide a soft and controllable light source. The only negative is the price, it’s not cheap, but as they say “buy nice or buy twice”.

Better than expected
Changed my whole video lighting setup and was worried this light and dome would make my interviews harder and more time consuming to setup. Wasn't really the case and the lighting is now far superior in my interviews than my old lights and umbrella's. Highly recommend.

Best if it’s kind I’ve ever used. The ease of use and the filter holder is what makes this modifier golden. 5 stars

Build quality is top notch
The light and the softbox are both top-notch. Expensive but def worth it.

Poor Build Quality
You get what you pay for. The cheap price matches the build quality. If I didn't open it beyond the return window I definitely would've returned it and spent a few extra $$$ to get another Chimera softbox. It's functional but because of how cheap it looks and feels, I would never use it when clients are present.
