I've used this before for my thinning, fine hair and it works really well, considering my aging hair. I use very sparingly, a little dab goes a long way, and a little blow drying. enhances the volume. I'm even cautious with my blower (warm setting, low air) to not damage my fragile hair.I gave it four stars because the day it was to be delivered to me, the Amazon driver delivered to someone else, not in my neighborhood, was re-delivered today but the Amazon driver tossed it in the flower bed under my front porch. Maybe they were upset about the bad review I gave when submitting my delivery problem, or maybe they were just in a bad mood, or ????Also both deliveries were not photographed as per usual. Instead the Driver(s) stated that they hand delivered it to the person at the residence. Nope. Did not happen.But the product itself is great!

I purchased this product earlier this year because Toppik discontinued its hair thickener. I finally got around to trying it when I decided (belatedly, obviously) to check the ingredients. While I am not sure whether or not there are other questionable ingredients in this product, one did jump out at me: methylparaben. Parabens reportedly have been linked to endocrine problems and breast cancer. And here's the thing: parabens, especially this one, are used in many, many products. So, like the discussion we had on HFCS some time ago, this and other parabens are used in many cosmetics, personal products, foods, etc. The repeated use could possibly be harmful. Of course, they might not harm everyone who uses products that contain them, and more studies need to be done, but when there is smoke, well, you know. So, I try to avoid products with parabens and I would think people, especially women, of any age should avoid them. It is too late to return this product to Amazon, so it will go to the hazardous waste recycling center near me.

This product really does the trick. It doesn't dull your hair or make it feel sticky. I use it right after shampooing when my hair is damp. I have always been happy with this product. The shampoo and conditioner work really well to. Not sure why the hairspray is now an insanely ridiculous price (over $100.00) . It was always around $7-12.00. It really did work when I used it but the price is not affordable for the hairspray.

Aside from my hair being a disaster, I appreciate that this company is using plant sources instead of all chemicals. I love the smell of this product, however, it does dry my hair out. It's a light volumizer probably because they are not totally using the bad chemicals.

For me it works. It gives body and fullnes to my hair.
