Spot's Big Lift the Flap Book

Better than we expected, very pleased. Large and satisfies our son's curiosity for hours. He loves it. Even after a month, its still a favorite.

This book is interactive without the use of batteries or electronics. Small children love to lift the flaps to answer the questions posed by the text. The one drawback of this particular edition is the size. It very large for younger children (2-3 years old)

I wasn't paying attention to the binding type when I ordered this book. I was surprised when a >paperback< lift the flap book arrived. I returned it immediately as my toddler will destroy this book within a week.

We were delighted to find this larger and longer "lift the flap" book for our 18 month old daughter. She has been enamored with all the books in the Spot series, and has enjoyed lifting flaps since she was less than a year old! This book is just wonderful because there are about three flaps to open per page, and the pictures are large and the paper is sturdy. It's so fun to read with your toddler and teach them about animal sounds, colors, shapes and numbers. The big size of the book makes it a little less portable and harder for small children to hold on their own, but we have spent many fun hours together reading this book. My daughter's eyes still light up when we get it off the shelf. I highly recommend this for everyone!!

Eric Hill's Spot books are wonderful fun. Instead of his usual, gentle storyline here he gives kids lots of animals, colors, numbers and shapes to explore by lifting the many sturdy flaps. His drawing style is so appealing that children can't help but get into it. My 23 month old will often sit and "read" the whole book on her own, carefully lifting each flap and remembering the words out loud. We have several Spot books and they are all favorites.

My daughter is in love w/all the Spot Lift the Flap books. So naturally, I decided to buy this book for her for Christmas b/c it had so many different flaps and incorporated her favorite character. I am very happy w/the book. The flaps are sturdy and the pages are as well, which is perfect for my rather rambuncous 2 year. I was a little concerned at first w/it being a paperback and not a board book, but it so sturdy that you really don't need to worry about. Great book!

This book is big and like a coloring book. It is easy to rip and clumsy to handle. Do yourself and your little one a favor and buy another book.

My 2year old adores lift the flap books, but some contain very few. This book is great with 3to 4 on each individual page. Nice bright colours and includes different animals like hippo, and crocodile, that my daughter loves. Educational too with numbers, colours, opposites and lots more. Fantastic book.

Some of the flaps were slightly ripped and spine was damaged

Some minor wear but great condition especially for a lift the flap book. Great educational value and lots of fun.

Although the book was cheap it had flaps ripped off which was disappointing andspoilt the enjoyment of the book, bought for my Grandchildren.
