Heed the 2.4 mix WiFi only stipulation.
I had given these bulbs a thumbs up previously. But now have to find them a thumbs down. Lost power for a few hours the bulbs lost their programming/connection. Opened app to reset bulbs..had to update the app now I am getting messages that I have to use a 2.4 ghz WiFi network... I haven't changed networks only , thing that has changed is the app update... So although they were working great just a week ago on my network now they are totally useless after the app gave me no choice but to download the update and install it... No update on my question to the company. Really upset as I have only had 3 months of use, and now not working at all... I can't program them at all so just junk...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these bulbs! (UPDATED 2x - Lowered rating)
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. (Original review) I looked hard for a bulb that could give me soft AND bright white plus an array of colors. These are the ones. They work with the Smart Life app very easily and hook up to my Alexa devices. This is my second order and as I slowly replace all the bulbs in my house to smart bulbs, I'm buying these!(Updated 4.20.19) I bought a 4 pack of these bulbs just a little under 3 months ago. In the last 2 weeks, TWO of the four bulbs just stopped working. When the first one went a couple of weeks ago I chalked it up to a fluke-- even good products fail and sometimes you get a lemon. But then tonight a second bulb stopped working. Both failed bulbs were in different lamps and, of course, I went around the house trying them in different lamps to make sure it was actually the bulb that failed. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed and I'll be buying a different brand moving forward. I've lowered my rating from 5 to 2. All the bulbs from the order I placed last year are still working fine and 2 of 4 from this order still work. But with 2 failing less than 3 months after I bought them is unacceptable.UPDATE 6/19/19: I am lowering my rating to one star. If I could give it zero stars I would. The third light bulb started going on the fritz 2 days ago. I'm afraid to use it now because not only is it flickering like I show in the video, it's making a weird buzzing noise. I don't want it to start a fire or short my lamp out. The only reason the fourth light bulb hasn't gone out is because that's the only one I haven't used yet. I'm afraid to now! I'm really upset and disappointed and feel like I not only wasted my money but who knows if these bulbs could be dangerous too. I also hate giving bad reviews, and a review like this is not my typical.

Works fairly well, some issues
bought a few of these over the winter so while I was at work the house would have some light for my animals, they worked well for the most part, and all the colors were consistent, having them tired to routines with alexa made it even better, however 2 have died including one that just now bit the dust, the first one that died they promptly replaced but the basic white values were different and I could not get them to line up in the same fixture, so after some sorting I was able to get all bulbs of like white values together. now I have a bulb that once a week for a few months will not respond and now if finally dead, despite powercycling, and checking for software updates.price is great, RGB is good, app is ok, but be aware they may die prematurely, and not all will have the same white values

Good for a month.
These were great for about a month. I have three for our outside/porch lights, and one in our living room. They constantly lose connection. One of them emits a WiFi signal, but doesn’t light up. We had a winter storm and lost power, and when we got the power back, I couldn’t get them to connect to the WiFi network anymore. I thought the problem was that the WiFi signal was weak, but even when I swapped them with the one inside our house, but nothing changed. I recommend paying a little more and getting something else that is more reliable.

Temporarily discovered by Smart Life app and Alexa. Don't buy this product
This product was easily setup and worked fine-ish for about three days. the second day bulbs and Alexa had a couple hours they did not communicate. Then starting yesterday they totally stopped communicating so, I attempted to reinstall several times. I understand one being defective but all four? The App said I needed to connect to a 2.4Ghz network, which is not mentioned in the description. I have a 3.0Ghz network verified. So, in short I hate to say this but I do not recommend this product

Only easy to install within 7-8 feet of your router
First the good news: the setup for bulbs within 7-8 feet of the router worked fine. The related app worked fine. Now the bad news: if you want to activate bulbs beyond that 7-8 foot range it appears you’re out of luck except for one laborious work-around I’ll explain in a minute. I saw one review that mentioned beginning setup in a lamp within 7-8 feet of the router and then finishing at a more distant lamp and asked both the Amazon community and product customer service about the steps in this process but never got satisfactory answers. I still think that might be possible but In 5-6 communications product service did not explain how. The work-around? I used a 25-foot coax and 25-foot day extension cord to take the router to the lamps. It worked fine, but customers should not have to go to such—literal—lengths to get the bulbs to work. For now, unless you’re prepared to do the same, I’d stay away from these bulbs.

8 Smart Bulbs from 3Stone so far!
I previously purchased 4 A21 bulbs. I went with A19 this time because the larger A21 wouldn't fix inside the cover of my ceiling light. The A19 are equivalent to 60W (A19 = 100W). The light fixture I have holds two 19s. I'm satisfied that I'm getting 120W at full brightness, which is fine for a living room ceiling light. As I wrote in my review of the A21 bulbs, in color mode the bulbs aren't nearly as bright but they definitely look great if you want accent lighting. The Smart Life app can be a bit frustrating. Sometimes it takes 2-3 tries for your network to detect the bulb through the app. Make sure you use AP mode for setup (light blinking slowly). Once Smart Life detects the bulb(s), ask Alexa to discover it.I'm away from home for a few weeks. Once I return, I'll upload some video of the bulbs in action.
