Rioddas External CD Drive,

Needed an external USB CD/DVD drive to rip some music. Drive works great, ripped CD's using dBpoweramp using AccurateRip without issue. Device sits nicely on top of the Lenovo tiny m910 it's attached to, the USB cable is approx 20cm and is not removable but for me this is perfect. Displays as 'HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GT30N USB Device' in device manager and was plug and play on Windows 10.Very happy with the purchase.

I have purchased this product last week and got it delivered just in a day. Amazon delivery was good as usual. Product is simple to use. I own a laptop without inbuilt drive. This serves the purpose well. Only thing which I found difficult was the inbuilt attached cable on the backside of the product. It is good in a way that you won't lose the cable anywhere. But it terms of maintenance, it is slightly tough. Apart from that product is easy to use.

Excellent piece of kit, very easy to install - literally plug and play, no drivers required or software installation. I especially liked the clever USB cable stowage underneath. It's very quiet and very quick. This is a no nonsense, easy to use and robust external DVD-RW. It's USB 3.0 but backwards compatible with USB 1.0.I highly recommend this product, even though the company promised me £20 Amazon voucher for writing the review and then didn't make good on it.

Ordered and it arrived 2 days later. Packaged securely. Plugged into laptop (Windows 10 64bit) and it worked without having to install any software or drivers. It even works being plugged into an Amazon 10-port hub. Have burned audio CDs using Windows Media Player, data CD's with BurnAware Free and watched DVD's with VLC. Even ripped DVD with DVDShrink.It feels well made and it's not noisy. CD's and DVD's loaded very quickly.Highly recommended

Having bought a new laptop without a CD/DVD drive this is just the job to be able to play my CDs and DVDs.

A simple to use multi-format device that is a must for anyone who, like me, still has software and other info stored on CD/DVD. It draws power from the single USB connection so no additional power required. The lead is a little short but it's long enough to manage most situations. The device looks and feels robust but time will tell.All things considered, a great purchase at a good price.

This is a great piece of kit. Have used on two different lap tops and, as advertised, it plugged and played on both - consequently I bought another one. Comes with clear 30 day return warranty. Lead is short but, this doesn't detract from the product for me.The quality of the case and lead seems robust.Highly recommend this product.
