Q: Does this work on Linux?

I'm running Linux. I have a nice monitor. All I do is just plug in one cord and Boom! Everything works. Word of advice for both Linux and Windows user. If you want to use it as a docking port. You will need a Type 'C' Adapter of at least 85 watts or more to use Anker as a charger pass through. Of course you don't need to do this, it will power everything. But if you want the ease of just plugging in to use and charge your laptop, use the adapter.

Q: Can i plug a usb-c to displayport cable into the usb-c data port and have 4k @ 60hz still work?

I have found that it does NOT display through USB-C as well. Tested both HDMI and Displayport. Tested on an M1 Mac air.

Q: Will this work with Samsung galaxy note9; transfer data and charging note9 while transferring data?

It works with Samsung galaxy note9. Transfer data, but due to the power input limitations of mobile devices, this hub is not suitable for pass-through charging tablets or phones (including your galaxy note9).

Q: Can 2 laptops usb-c video ports connected to this hub and connect to one monitor using hdmi output of this hub ?

No. One usb-c port is for power only. 100 watts of power is required for this device to work correctly
