My first impression of this controller was not good. all the other reviews say that pairing was a breeze but I don't see how, the instructions on the box are incorrect. It says to hold "home +Y" for 5 seconds but every time I did that the power would shut off. It was after extreme frustration and just checking other button combos I was able to somehow get it to pair. Someone in the comments above said you need to hold for 3 seconds … Once I got past that hurdle the control felt great. I bought it for a more precise controller for shooters like Fortnite. The little left and right stick on the Switch are just too tiny to be able to make any precision moves and I also didn't want to fork out the $60 for the Switch pro controller. I will say that I also play Fortnite on Xbox one and the Xbox controller felt perfect so thats what I was looking for. This controller when compared to the Xbox controller is laid out identical (all the way down to the grip texture on the left and right sticks!).The only difference I felt between this controller and the Xbox controller is the Xbox controller feels a little heavier (because it has AA batteries), The Xbox button clicks are much quieter (this controller has a pretty loud plasticly click on most buttons) and the rumble on this controller feels a lot more intense, to the point where it was almost distracting … overall though, it was perfect for what I need and was great once I got past the connecting instructions.

I'll cut to the chase, this is great product. I definitely would recommend to anyone who owns a Nintendo Switch. I own a Xbox as well, so naturally this controller (designed similarly to the Xbox one controller) was just what I was looking for. Easy syncing process, charges quickly, buttons are sturdy, and at such a good price?!? You can't beat this deal. Do yourself a favor, and get this for the new Super Smash Bros game you know you're gonna get!To the Seller:Dear Seller, this is a great product. For the future, it would be nice to see an addition made to this controller. There's not an intuitive function to indidicate the charge statis of the controller, and/or if it's fully charged or not. It would be nice if there was an additional Blue LED light under the home button to indicate the controller is fully charged while plugged in. Likewise, a Red light, indicating the controller IS still charging while plugged in. Just a thought, cheers.

To address other comments I've seen, in my experience, connection was easy. Just follow the instructions and it all works. It took less than 2 minutes to start using the controller with Super Mario Oddesy.Some reviewers have mentioned that vibration is a bit too strong, and I'd have to agree. In SMO, you sometimes need to use the strength of the vibration to find hidden stars. The vibration makes it hard to tell when you're on top of the item.As a result of the vibration issue plus the cheap plastic buttons, I notice a loud rattle if the controller is vibrating but I'm not holding it firmly. It's kind of annoying, but acceptable for $25. It was a quick way to stop cramping mine and my wifes fingers when we shared the joy-cons.

Lightweight, feels nice in your hand, not hard to pair and functions as it should. The only problem is the analog sticks have too large of a dead zone. It makes the controller pretty much useless for any kind of shooter or game that requires precise aim and that's the only reason I bought it. The joy con sticks don't have enough "resolution" because of how short they are. This could have been a winner but the sticks just don't feel good. I am returning it.

Worked great for awhile. Due to Nintendo relying so heavily on the "A" button for it's selection choice, this button died after a very short time. I really was hoping I'd purchased a protection plan, but sad to learn I did not. It was great for the price while it lasted, but if you decide to buy this item, you should by a warranty with it. Battery life and size were great, but the material quality is very poor.

Controllers are very light. They feel a little bit cheap but for what they cost I dont mind. Exactly the same size as an Xbox controller. We did have to update them ourselves online.

Let me start by saying that this is a great controller. The build quality is good enough for the price. I mainly bought this controller because I got tired of removing the joycons from my switch while playing on the tv. It is super comfortable much more comfortable that the joycons. It was easy enough to setup and its always paired to the switch no need to reconnect everytime. For the price you cant go wrong with this. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

The item is light but I like the size. One issue is it has to be reconnected when on switch you assign controllers.
