Works and sturdy

I use these with my Mirror Photo Booth to attach my camera on top. They are sturdy and easy to use. I feel confident my camera is secure, ensuring a seamless event!

Good for the price but as another review mentioned the cold shoe mount does not line up with the umbrella holder unless you loosen the disk. Loosening it makes it feel less stable than I'd prefer. I think you could improve this situation by adding a rubber washer between the screw disk and shoe mount, something to give a bit of compression and grip. I made my own washer from a scrap of craft eva foam and it seems that will improve the situation.

This is a great tool to use while you take your beautiful pictures.

I haven't actually needed to use this just yet but I wanted the option to have my off camera flash with an umbrella. This accessory will allow me to do that to diffuse some lighting.

was using a small ball head and cold shoe on a light stand.this is more secure and only adds about 3/4 in in total length so the light stand can still go in the bag...

It doesn't stay tight and is pretty light for holding a flash and umbrella. Don't use it where it might get a breath of wind or with anything very heavy. I lost my good Bogen-Manfrotto version of this a few years and while this works in a pinch, I miss the heavy sturdiness of the much better one. In this case it wasn't very expensive but you get what you didn't pay for;).

This is a well made and well engineered product made from metal with stainless steel lock screws ,which should last forever, The only plastic is on the head of the 2 wing adjusting nuts, so i was very impressed with the quality and value for money. The reason i ordered this was to attach a flashgun and brolly to a tripod to take portraits in the house ,i ordered it in the evening and it was left on my doorstep next morning, The aluminium boss has 3/8 and 1/4 threaded holes on the end to fit either size of tripod screws, and is included .I would recommend this product and gave it 5 stars. regards Steve.
