I bought this drill bit set for my dad since he needed some replacements for his tools. At first glance, the product seems to be of good quality, the bits feel sturdy, and the variety in the set is pretty versatile for different tasks. So far, we’ve used them for a few projects, and they’ve performed really well.However, I think it’s necessary to test them further with more demanding jobs to see if they hold up over time or if any issues arise. That being said, for regular, non-intensive work, they are excellent and definitely get the job done. Overall, I’d recommend them!

It was time for a new set of drill bits and like so many (tens of thousands) of the reviews here attest, these are high quality and a great value. The pilot point is a great feature and makes starting the drill bit so much easier as the bit will not move once you firmly press into the wood. Have not tried to use these on any metals, but they are excellent in wood. Compared to all the bits these replaced, they are the best I've used. For the homeowner or DIY'er, these bits will fit for just about any task with the 21 different sizes. The carrying case for these is also great the way the bits snap into the holders so they are held tight and don't come loose like some other cases. Paid $27 for these - a great value. Highly recommended.

This is the best drill bit set I have purchased. The bits seem to be quite durable and drill easy through just about anything a typical homeowner would need. The titanium coating is supposedly why they are so durable and why I purchased this set. It seems to make the bits quite durable. The Pilot Point is also fantastic, as it successfully prevents the drill bit from "walking" when you first start drilling. For me, this was especially important when drilling on metal where I always found my previous bits to move around before biting in. It is much easier to be accurate with this set.

The bits in this set were so strong they broke the chuck on my old drill. I was installing a VESA mount and drilling into a stud and my old drill seized up, breaking it! No damage to my DeWalt bits, but a perfect excuse for me to buy a matching DeWalt drill to match this set. I'm upgrading my tools this year, treating myself to some good stuff and I have no doubt this set of bits will last me years. I love that the bits are firmly retained in their spots. I've used old bit sets that were poorly organized and the firmness that the DeWalt bits are secured in this set gives me the confidence that I will always know the right bit is in the right spot (because old sets would just roll around in the case).

Love the hex shanks for rapid change and nitride coating. Handle wood, plastics, aluminum, and SOFT steel (with cutting oil) well. They are not Diamond Brand drills or Mitsubishi, or Matsuki, but they're a good value. I like the hex shanks for non-keyed chucks and almost instant changing. DO NOT get these HOT or they will dull quickly. I have my late Daddy's WWII sulfur-based cutting oil for steel and a can of aluminum cutting oil. These are handyman/carpenter drills not metal production shop drills. Not the quality of my twenty-year-old Milwaukee drills, but look at the PRICE. I'm not sure about the "snap-off" factor on the small drill sizes yet. Seem good for the money.

I had to google how to remove the current bit that was in the drill and how to put a new one in. Easy peasy. This new set fits perfectly and works great.Overall, I'm very pleased.

Reasonably priced nitride coated drills, interesting point geometry, self centers larger diameters fairly well.Nitride coating is relatively inexpensive to add to a tool, many brands overcharge for this, but not this set.
