The different screen surfaces explained Matt White Matt white vinyl reflective surface diffuses projected light in all directions, so image can be seen from any angle. MW provides accurate colour rendition as well as superior clarity. Recommended for use with all high light output projection devices. Better in a low ambient light environment. Gain = 1.1 Glass Bead Spherical glass beads embedded in surface provide more reflection giving a brighter image compared to matt white. This brighter image is limited to a smaller viewing angle than matt white. Glass Bead screens will slightly alter the purity of the colours displayed... and will have 'sweet spots' where the picture is at its premium... the picture at other viewing angles can appear slightly darker (yet still lighter than a MW screen). Gain = 2.5 Matt Grey High-contrast Matt Grey, similar to Matt White, but with a darker surface designed to enhance the blacks of the projected images, even as whites and lighter colours are maintained. Performs well in ambient light condition. With a lower power projector the whites are not quite as bright as with other surface greys, but dark tone appear much darker. Gain = 0.8 Returns are subject to a 10% re-stocking fee. If a screen arrives faulty in any way, it will be replaced within 7 days. All screens come with a 12 month Warranty. It is up to the buyer to cover all return postage costs for a returned screen.

Brilliant Value!
For sheer value for money these screens are unbeatable.I bought this screen to replace a manual screen which I bought around ten years ago at twice the price!Very easy to install although the power cord could do with being a bit longer.There's a bit of edge curl but is mostly confined to the black area but at this price I'm not complaining.The motor works quietly and smoothly too.I've given five stars for a decent quality motorised screen at a very good price.

Nice looking screen
Nice looking screen, but unfortunately mine has curled quite badly at the edges and does not hang straightNot a major issue but when a panning shot is being displayed it looks like the image is rippled

Good value for money - will see how it lasts!
For the price a very good screen at first use. Manual written in Chinese & something using the wrong English words, but not important as easy to fit and use. Would be useful if the cable was a bit longer as it is not possible to simply re-wire it. (Would require a soldering iron)

Great screen for the price - limited by plug only on left side
A great screen for entry level, does not break the bank. Easy to mount and quite simple but effective electronics. RF remote works a treat and motor is not as noisy as others have indicated.Definitely follow the instructions to have the screen fully extended for a week once mounted as this reduces any curling around the edges and helps rid of the chemical smell. I use the screen in a matt white room (not ideal for home cinema set up according to the A/V gurus) with large windows one behind the screen approx distance10ft and one in front approx 15ft. They do not have blackout curtains however this has not been an issue when using my Axer portable HD projector. The black backing on the screen is definitely advantageous for my setup.Would have been 5 stars except for the fact that the plug is on the left hand side of the unit and I needed it on the right hand side. the cable is not long enough to run along the top of the screen since the wall mounted control would end up being above the screen. Could have shopped around to perhaps find a screen with the plug on the right hand side but I am willing to live with running an extension cable in the interim whilst I come up with a solution as I will only use the screen occasionally.

Recieved item as normal, unboxed, plugged in and tested, worked brilliant first time. Adjusted the screens drop amount which was a real pain, screwdriver would not do it so had to use alan key. After some time messing about the screen was ready. Put on wall, adjusted projector and the quality is brilliant! far better than i expected! if you have patience and want good quality this screen is for you.
