Very good camera.
Good camera perfect for garden where are no sockets, good image. Good battery life.

Will connect to NVR but probably not worth doing
The camera works well (but I have only had it a couple of weeks) and it is summer so its charging OK. I dont know how it will hold up during winter . I bought it to go with an existing Reolink camera system and NVR. The camera has connected to the NVR but it was quite a lot of effort and on reflection probably wqasnt worth doing. It worked just as well (if not better) as a stand alone item.

Excellent camera made me feel so much safer in my home.
Excellent camera captures a good amount of footage and records any movement and can monitor on my fone. Makes me feel safer living on my own can see who at my door before having to open door and put myself at risk. Allows me to speak to people outside and has a light I can put on and an alarm to sound to scare of potential intruders.

Absolutely fantastic
Really clear video, love the subject tracking feature - this surely must be a good burglar deterrent if they can see the camera following them around. Haven’t seen any evidence of battery charge issues, the solar panel is keeping the camera charged to 100% in February on a north facing aspect. Really happy with it so far.

Great Camera, Poor charging of Solar panel
I am very pleased with the camera but Solar panel cannot keep it charged for long.I have got it on basic settings PIR trigger record only, lights dimmed right down.To top it all I paid over £200 now it's £159 approximately 2 months later.Overall dissopointed with charging side and paying over the odds ,roll on Summer Sunshine.Steve.

As advertised
Hardware easy to fit with templates provided. Easy connection to wifi. Does what it is advertised to do.

Fine for basic monitoring but not for privacy-sensitive or off-grid setups
The camera is really good all around (but does have some software limitations), however, the solar panel is way too weak to charge it (it's been stuck at 50% for a week or two now), even though it gets a lot of sun throughout the day.Firstly, if anyone is having an issue getting it to read their micro SD cards (especially if it's over 32GB), you need to ensure it's formatted as FAT32. This is a problem, as Windows won't let you use the FAT32 format if it's over 32GB - you will need to download an app called "FAT32 Format".Regarding the limitations, as my camera covers a small section of my neighbour's garden, I set his garden as "do not detect motion in this area." This prevents it from starting a recording due to motion in the area, however, the camera detected him walking from his car into his garden and turned and tracked him inside the "do not detect" area. He saw it following him and freaked out about it—turns out the software doesn't take this into account when tracking. It turns out that even if you set a privacy mask, it doesn't keep track of where it should be when moving the camera, so the place you have blocked off ends up being uncovered.I have ended up having to permanently disable the tracking.Lastly, I can't figure out how the "permanent recording" is meant to work, as even though I've enabled it, it only records motion-activated events - for clarity, I have a 512GB SD card in it, as well as having it connected to the Reolink Home Hub.

Not perfect - Update
UPDATE:Reolink sorted me a replacement camera as one I had was faulty ( thanks to Sandy and everyone at reolink) one of the main issues with the original and the replacement camera is the solar panel it doesn't seem to be powerful to power the camera I live in Birmingham and not the Amazon rain forest so should have powered the camera but the battery drained to around 15% so twiddled the settings and turned off the PIR which really you should be able to have that on regardless, anyway the battery went down to 9% so in the end I had to install a power supply up to near the camera and plugged the camera in using a phone charger 5v please if doing this way make sure you don't use a normal plug or go over the stated rating, this solved the battery drain and now it's 100% great, it is a beautiful camera with fantastic day and nightime viewing very clear, however the other issue I've got as was with the faulty one is that the camera does not record everything it has issues ie with animals etc that it will not pick it up unlike my other reolink cameras so I've updated the star ⭐ rating from one star ⭐ to two stars ⭐⭐, even though I love the camera the look of it and its not very big for a PT ( Pan & Tilt ) is I'm very disappointed about it not recording everything which is why I brought the camera for to record everything!!! It's a shame the camera doesn't have zoom. The camera isn't perfect and buggy which hopefully will be resolved with software updates, one of the bug things is it doesn't record everything even Messing around with the settings I have other cameras near that are superb at recording so hopefully reolink can sort this, one pain is that it goes into standby mode possible because it's a battery camera so say if you have it on a monitor or TV etc you have to click onto a message to keep viewing also if you have it on your app to view time lapse you can't view it on your NVR and vice versa again hopefully reolink can sort it, the length of cable on the solar panel is of fantastic length if it's too long for you then you can wrap it in to a cable box, the viewing quality is superb both in daylight and night time as for the battery seems to go down fast and doesn't seem to charge well maybe it's mine or because weather is cloudy and raining I'm not sure, best thing before you instal is to charge up the camera, overall it's a superb camera which can be a good addition to your CCTV system or just a standalone, also seems to be a bit pricey over the £200 mark needs to come down in price and the bugs sorting.
