Amazing graphics

This is to confirm that the game is indeed broken since launch. And it is still broken a month later. For me it works even worse. The SteelBook is embarrassing. The outer cardboard sleeve is sealed with some sticky tape that you cannot remove without damaging the sleeve itself. There's no manual, no nice book, just this dumb badge holder on a ribbon with a digital code card placed in this holder. Please avoid at all costs! The game won't be fixed anytime soon. Wait for a deep deep sale in a year or so. Disgusting.Edit: So two months later I still have planes missing. I was looking forward to flying a C-17, and it’s just nowhere to be found. I have tried reinstalling the game and deleting all files several times to no avail.

I’m new to Microsoft Flight Simulator, as I have always been a PlayStation gamer. But with the announcement of MFS2024 and the promise of a detailed digital Earth to fly around, I purchased my first Xbox just for the occasion. I am NOT disappointed! First flight around the game (after letting the server rush settle) was fantastic! Beautiful graphics. Of course, took my first flight around my home town, and so amazing to see it in all its 3D glory. Can’t wait to dig in more in the months to come!

I'm not sure if we can call it a game, but for me there's nothing better out there that beats this Flight Simulator for a real enjoyment. I don't get tired of flying this simulator at all. There's so many options of aircrafts, airports and situations. It''s Incredible. It may hurt your budget if you don't control your buying impulses as per so many options there are to make this flight simulator real.

I have been trying for 2 days straight to get this game to work and even bought an Xbox to play it on and I can’t. I had to purchase a subscription in which I already cancelled a month for $20.00. I was super excited to play this game but no luck without paying more money to Microsoft. No phone numbers for tech support, been trying all day to reach a human being with zero luck to help me get it working. I think I’m just returning everything now, very disappointed 😔

My first PC game back in the 80's was Microsoft Flight Simulator 1.0. I've owned them all, and Xplane and I've probably spent 2500 dollars or more on addon aircraft, mods, etc over the years. I'm a flight sim addict.This runs good on my PC. I have an Nvidia RTX 3070 Super GPU and play on medium settings.Their are some extremely annoying bugs in this initial release. I am playing in career mode primarily and have managed to acquire most of the certifications. Some of the aircraft are just plain broken. You will have instances where your pilots head is sticking through the roof, you'll get penalized for exceeding max flap speeds when you aren't even moving... simply deploying 10 degrees of flaps while stationary and you can get dinged for it. The Cessna 172 and the Caravan are modeled fairly well and you shouldn't have too many issues with those. I paid 125 dollars for one of the more premium editions, and I am happy for the extra planes, but a lot of them clearly were not tested out all that well. I guarantee that they will add polish and fix some of the bugs, but am disappointed in their lack of QA on this initial release. I think they must have been more deadline driven than quality driven because some of the bugs are just hilariously bad and glaring defects that should have been resolved. I hope their reputation doesn't take too much of a hit as they iron out the problems, which I am confident that they will.I will update this review after some patches go in, on day 1 (and after a week or so of flying) I can't give it more than 3 stars.

What a waste of money. Software sucks. Loaded with bugs. I can't believe Microsoft released this pile of crap. A 737 taxiing down a jetway with no wheels. Mouse panning in the cockpit doesn't work. Please wait a year before you consider buying this geek pile of dung.

I'm a helicopter CFI and use this simulator to do radio work and keep up on my navigation skills, as well as, to just have fun with the different aircraft and challenges that are offered. So far I've had no bug issues, but I do not do any streaming, which I hear is where most issues are with this new simulator.
