This perfectly scars the skin and looks so real. It works quickly and affectively, it dries down quick. It’s perfect for special effects makeup, it doesn’t feel itchy or scratchy, I only wore it for a few hours so I couldn’t tell you if it irritates the skin if you wear it longer.

I’m a cosplayer and have used Mehron for years for scars. I got this to try instead and used it for my Shadowheart cosplay. It burned when I put it on and left a streak on my face where I had applied it and now I’m left with an actual mark across my face. Mehron’s tingled but never burned me, but this one did and was horribly strong smelling compared to the other.

I needed a larger bottle of rigid collodion for a cosplay I am doing for a convention. While it isn't huge, it was bigger that the one I had, so I thought that I would give it a go. I tested it first, because one always should when dealing with things that are going to be on your skin for an extended period of time. Sadly this just did not perform as needed. It just kind of sits on the skin like glue, but doesn't actually pull the skin together for that scar look. Its also rather difficult to get off. Overall, not impressed with the product.

First off, this is a stinky product. Definitely use it in a well ventilated room or even outside. This layers really well and dries super super fast so that's a plus plus. However, I didn't really love the packaging because the way the label was applied meant I had no directions and I had to go look it up. This made for me at least a very light. Very heeled looking scar which isn't really what I was going for. But I can definitely build it up and make it look more realistic. If I'm patient enough. It definitely stays in place as well for a very long time and I didn't have too hard of an issue to get it to come off. It was kind of like peeling Elmer's glue off of my skin at the end of the day.

This is a tiny bottle but it is inexpensive and may be enough for a few uses. Can be used for creating a scar effect for special effects makeup although this brand does not produce as pronounced of a puckering effect as other brands. Dries very quickly and can be layered to intensify the effects. It works, although results can potentially vary depending on the skill level and artistic ability of the user.

Make sure that you've got some spirit gum remover on hand, or you're ready to deal with how the alcohol removing process is going to go, before you start playing with this stuff. It can mess up your skin and you really don't want that. But if you've used it before and you're ready to take it off with the right tools -- it's perfectly good scar maker and does exactly what you want.Good stuff.

Do not buy, in the images advertising it is being applied to the face, so i obviously assumed it was safe to put on your face. When I went to take it off, it tore my skin off and left horrible burns and inflammation. This is going to leave real scars so I won’t need this crappy product! If i could leave zero stars I would. Do NOT buy this.
