My thoughts and observations regarding TREETALK's gaming desk.Materials:The wood panels on this desk are fully wrapped in an attractive black carbon-fiber pattern overlay. At 1/2 inch thick, these panels are sturdy and water resistant, although they tend to attract fingerprints. The hollow metal frame, legs, and shelves are equally robust, with the metal being thick enough to resist bending or flexing. The edges are smooth, ensuring that there are no sharp parts to cut your fingers or scratch the surface during assembly. Plastic inserts are included where needed to ensure secure connections.Design: - The desk includes a detachable riser with a height of 5.25 inches, which is both sturdy and roomy. - The metal shelves are adjustable and easily accommodate a medium-sized PC tower. - An incorporated power outlet provides easy access without interfering with your workspace. - The L-shaped design is perfect for corners and allows efficient use of small spaces. - The compact design is well-suited for smaller rooms, it results in tight leg and chair space. - Despite the compactness, the desk offers overall good working space.Personal Opinion:Initially, I found the desk’s compact design a bit too tight for comfort, but in a short time, it grew on me. The 5.25-inch riser is particularly useful, allowing me to move my keyboard and other items out of the way without interfering with my monitor or speakers. The built-in power outlet is another thoughtful touch, providing easy access for plugging in accessories and helping with cord management. The desk is strong enough to handle the monitor swing arm for my second monitor. Overall, a win for me while not hogging up a lot of room.That said, the limited legroom and tight chair space are worth noting. I am 5 ft. 3 in. tall and like to work with my legs extended, especially during extended gaming sessions. I managed to work around the desk's limited legroom by removing the simple crossbars at the back, which gave me more room to stretch my legs. I only did this because the desk is well-braced in other areas, maintaining its stability.I have no comments regarding the lights. I did not install them to my desk. I find LED lights bothersome to my eyes, therefore I left them out.Final Thoughts:This desk is a solid choice for those looking for a compact, sturdy workspace for work or gaming. However, due to its limited leg space, the desk may be better suited for students or shorter adults. Taller individuals might find the legroom too cramped for comfort. Despite this, it’s a desk that should serve well for many years.

The was easy to assemble and it's very stable after putting together. It has two layers of shelving on both sides and it is L-shaped. It's good size for an apartment or dorm room also a home office. It also has a built-in outlet and a light strip that moves along to music.

After getting a similar desk for my older daughter, my youngest started complaining that she wanted one too, so here we are. Assembly was simple and straight forwards, I only had to remove two parts and turn them around, half the number of the last desk! I really like that this one has a metal mesh shelf to go over the computer, which allows you to put more things there in addition to providing ventilation, something the other desk didn't have. At first I wasn't sure the shelf would fit over the computer, but I have about 1.5" to spare. As both of my kids are led light crazy, this went over well with her when she saw them turned on. Another nice touch that I liked, but do not have on my other similar desk and have not see frequently while shopping around, this desk has the top shelf extend all the way across to the corner. Allowing placement of something else next to the monitor.My only complaint is the width. A narrow chair is needed to pull up close to this desk, which she has, as she is a narrow person! But when she gets older she will definitely complain about the space. As is, it is a great desk for now and checks all the boxes.
