Nice and Loud
Nice and loud and requires a firm tug to pull the pin so no worries about accidentally setting it off.Make sure you test it when it arrives. Like many products the manufacturer puts a little plastic tab between the batteries so that they don't drain while setting on the shelf. On both of the ones I have part of the tab broke off inside when I pulled the outside part of the tab causing the device to be non-functional. Very easy to fix, you just pop it open like you're replacing the batteries and in my case there was a little piece of plastic still stuck between two batteries preventing the device from working. Easy fix, but glad I tested both of mine.

Both were defective and you might get one that was already returned for being defective
The product box arrived strangely coated in a strongly scented lotion (or maybe conditioner, etc.). I opened it and only one of the two alarms was in a plastic bag, which seemed suspicious. The battery circuit-blocking pull tabs had been reinserted, and after I removed those, pulling the pin did absolutely nothing with one, and the other made a whisper-quiet sound. These had clearly been returned by someone who probably had tried one and found it to be defective… but the return options on Amazon don’t allow you to mark it as defective, so it seems the company keeps sending the defective returns to unsuspecting customers. And since it only gives options for basically “customer was dumb and bought the wrong thing”, I don’t know if the return will be a full refund.This is extremely frustrating. Far more frustrating than simply a defective product. I will never buy from this brand again. I suggest avoiding this.

Good but expensive
Very useful but quite expensive. The alarm is louder than the previous mode I purchased. Haven’t hand the need to use it which is good but am confident it will do the job when required.

Peace of mind as a runner
Amazing tool I use on a daily basis , especially as a female active triathlete. I often find myself in remote areas running or biking. This gives me peace of mind in any situation. And it's CRAZY loud :)

I run a lot and having the defendme alarm with me is reassuring. I attach it on my running bra and feel safer. I really like it!

Helaas, zowel 1e als de vervangende set hadden 1 defect alarm. Alles retour en een ander merk besteld

Great Personal Alarm
Love this little personal alarm for walking and hiking. Just wrap it around my wrist in case I need it fast. It makes a loud noise when pin is dislodged which will bring attention to you if need be and also frighten off coyote when hiking.
