This oil is great for moisturising I suffer from a dry scalp so has definitely helped with me feeling less awkward without a hat and has helped with my confidence slightly.I haven't felt much in terms of regrowing or improving thickness as I still have a significant balding patch in the middle of my scalp and although it's softer and hydrated there isn't much change in terms hair length and thicknessOverall I am happier as it definitely improved my confidence however maybe with more time I got also get some of my youth back!

Very moisturising! A little messy to apply, but it makes my hair feel softer and less frizzy and dry. The scent is unique, but i didn't feel it was too bad.

I like this product. I like that it makes the hair nice and soft after use. I personally like the smell, although my wife doesn't particularly, but as you need to rinse off and wash hair after use; I don't think that is an issue as your hair will smell of your shampoo and conditioner.I don't think I am so confident in the hair re-growing claims as I still have a really thin patch that doesn't appear to be getting thicker (although maybe I haven't given it enough time). But to make hair so soft; this is the stuff.

It is rather messy to apply as it begins like a gluey thick substance it but once on the scalp changes to liquid. It does however leave the hair shiny and smooth, eliminating dryness and split ends. Hard to remove, but worth the effort.

Mine is more of a solidified form, but soft when removing it and it melts as soon as I start applying it to my scalp. The form is similar to how coconut oil becomes solidified in colder temperatures but spreads easily. But I prefer it this way. It spreads on easily; I can easily take some onto my fingers and spread it through my hair onto the scalp.The only issue I have is that the smell is strong from the product, and it smells like a mix of castor oil and mint. I applied it to my scalp, and all throughout the day, I would get multiple wafts of the product and it takes some getting used to the smell. It's not bad but it's not pleasant. I didn't wash my hair for four days, and even on the fourth day, I did get wafts of the strong smell a few times in the day. So, if you use this product in your scalp, depending on the strength, you may want to wash your hair daily.There is a lot of product and since I'm using a thumb-sized amount once or twice a week, it should last me the whole year.

My hair has become very dry, brittle and dull and I also noticed thinning. I decided to switch my hair oil to something that was specially meant for dry hair and stumbled upon an article about banana oil. This is not like a regular liquid oil. It is a thick paste which will melt when rubbed between palm or when massaged on scalp. This also does not make hair 'look' very oily and greasy. I use it at night before going to bed and leave it at least overnight before shampooing. Since its a thicker paste, it will need 2-3 generous amount of shampoo applications to get it completely out of hair. I first wash my hair with warm water to let some of the oil wash away and then apply shampoo twice. The immediate difference I noticed was the shine in my hair. I hope this helps with hair thinning and split ends too.

This product is like a thick paste. You grab some and rub your hands together until it becomes liquid and almost clear. I then applied it on my scalp and ends, which were really dry, and left it on for around an hour. I truly love the smell; it reminds me of coffee. The reason for the four stars was that it took around three shampoos to remove the oil from my hair. However, after blow drying my hair, I found that it was smoother and my scalp did not feel dry. I try to use it once a week and love the results!

Undergoing treatment for cancer, my chemotherapy cycles left me completely bald within a week & a half of my first infusion. Now I'm not overly vain, but I miss my hair. Now that I've finished that cycle of chemo my hair is juuuust beginning to come back. Previously it was coarse, thick & wavy. Now at just about ¼", it's finer than baby hair & its salt & pepper appearance is now snow white. Still, I'd really appreciate if it would come back enough to provide some coverage for the upcoming winter season.So... I ordered this Batana Oil to apply to my scalp. Who knows how it will work on a chemo-challenged head. But it's worth a try.The scent is indeed reminiscent of coffee as the description states, so be aware of that if that earthy scent doesn't appeal to you.

This is the first time I have used Batana Oil and I really liked the Shine and body it adds to my hair. I only need to massage a small amount into my hair to get these results. I have not tried the intense overnight wrap method Yet.
