Easy to use, seriously plug & play
This product came in promptly. When you hear plug & play it seems like there's always something you have to do in order to use the product, not this reader, I plugged it into the USB on my laptop and popped in a disk and BOOM, the pictures popped up immediately. I was able to go through all three cases of my disks and get the pictures transferred within the hour. I would highly recommend this product for anyone needing a reader for 3.5" disks.

Be sure to read the instructions carefully!
Please note that diskettes are old technology, and data on on them may not be read due to their age. It is not the drive's fault if the diskette cannot be read. The data cable which is 2 feet long is attached permanently to the drive and is not removable.

Junk
I plug the unit into a USB port and all it does is make a horrible buzzing noise. With or without a disk loaded in it. Oh well, I guess it's back to Newegg for me.

worked very well
The drive did exactly what I asked it to. I was able to retrieve my pictures with my army buddies taken in 1997.... It worked great

The best that I can say is that it kind of works
The good news is that I can read a floppy. I can see the files, open a file from the A:\ drive & copy the files to a USB drive assuming the floppy media is still good. The bad news is that the A:\ drive does not always show up in Windows (10) Explorer when the drive is connected to the pc per the instructions. When it does show up it works fine until I attempt to install the next disk. The only way I have found to read the next disk is to eject the drive using Windows USB eject function, physically remove the USB cable, insert the next disk and plug the USB cable back in and hope the drive shows up in Explorer. As this was ordered for a one-shot use prior to disposing of stacks of floppies, it will work for this, although rather laboriously.
