I purchased this wifi water leak detector in September but I am just now writing a review because I wanted to wait and see how this will hold up. I purchased another brand of a wifi leak detector and it stopped working after about 3 months. It constantly went off line gave false alarms.The Fanstic wifi water leak detector has performed great so far. The set up and installation was very easy and connected to my network instantly. I use this for my crawl space where I had a couple of busted pipes and this is exactly what I was lookig for. Gives peace of mind so I don't have to go outside and get underneath my house. Like I said set up easy, Notifications work great. I keep the gateway in my bedroom so I can hear an alarm. Alarm level is gerat so you can probably put in anywhere and you will still hear the alarm.Best features for me:1. Ease of setup.2. Functionality.3. Alarm volume.4. Number of sensors include. I've seen some brans with only sensors included.5. Multiple tone settingsI've had this for about months now and no problems. Haven't had to change batteries yet and no false alarms.The price was excellent. Instructions are logical. Great that sensor batteries were included. Connection to WiFi went smoothly. App has nice, logical layout and controls. Sensors were already paired. If you lose track while labeling the sensors, just turn off all but one using the app and then water test it. Its label will then show up so it can be identified. Do the same for each one until all are identified. The app allows you to label the sensor name/location: “kitchen sink, master bathroom, etc.” We travel so it’s great to know this system is monitoring to anywhere we have cellular service. We had an undetected water leak last year with over $70,000 in damages. Getting insurance to cover was a major hassle. If we would have had this system, we could have called our neighbors to shut off the water. Prevention is everything. It took 5 months to get the damage repaired.

Very easy to setup and pair. App was easy to setup; tested and works wonderfully. Alarms are very loud and the notification to phone is fantastic. I have suffered through two events of my home flooding from attic. I purchased five and placed where water will be detected should I have another flood. I hope not but I am so glad I purchased. I tested as well to determine how much water would be needed to detect and while I did not measure I can say that I misted the floor and the alarm sounded almost immediately. I will be recommending this product to friends and family! Now............ I will be able to sleep at night and have peace of mind.
