My hair has always struggled to hold curls, and this is the first time I’ve ever tried a perm. I watched Savannah Luhan's tutorial on YouTube, which gave me the confidence to try it myself.The whole process took me around 2.5 hours from start to finish. I purchased the white curlers separately, along with paper ends and cotton coils. I followed the directions inside the box carefully, and after rinsing out the neutralizer, I didn’t wash my hair for 48 hours. Unfortunately, most of the curls fell out by then. It curls back up when wet. I didn’t get the tight spirals I was hoping for, and the front section of my hair stayed mostly straight with just a small wave.To help hold the curls in place, I need to use a good amount of gel. Some curls also have straighter ends, likely because I couldn’t see well while applying the wave lotion, or it could just be that section of my hair doesn't hold curls as well. I have super flat hair, and my main goal was to add some volume—and this definitely delivered on that front! Even with the extra styling, the added body is exactly what I wanted.For just $13, I think it was totally worth it. I plan to try a different brand in six months to see if I can get better results, but overall, I’m happy with the added volume and feel this was a great purchase!

Absolutely worst perm ever, been perming my for 45 yrs- this junk ruined my hair!!!!

I have been using this perm for years. It is very gentle on my very fine hair and has a fairly pleasant smell.

The product came within a few days of ordering with no damage. I have not used it yet but, hopefully soon. I never came across an alkaline perm before, hoping it gives me good results without damage.
