Amazing tanning gel ! Works in the sun
I’m usually one of the people that just get sunburnt I never tanBut I moved on the lake this year and I decided I was going to work on getting a tan. I use baby lotion on my skin and I mix this with it. I can’t believe the tan that I got , it was amazing. I was very impressed !! You just use a little bit of this and a lot of baby lotion and I’m telling you , I have great color! So buy this it’s well worth it. I still have half a tub left and I’ve been using it for two months. Try it it’s worth it ..you’ll be glad you did.

Not a fan
I was excited to try this product at the beach. I am not a fan of gel sun products but tried it. I was not blown away with the gel aspect of it but it did a good job on the tanning aspect. I thought it would have a real strong scent but it didn’t which was nice. Wish I would have ordered the lotion so I could have compared the two.

Great
I start off with a layer of sunscreen and use this on top and I really like it! I feel like you gives you an instant bronze and helps me get dark fast.

Do not recommend
Not as expected. Thought it would be a thicker jell but it was almost watery and smelt like plastic. Red in color not bronzing

Sunshine in a Bottle? A Look at Intensive Tanning Gels
Intensive tanning gels are a dime a dozen these days, all promising a deeper, darker tan. But do they deliver? Let's take a closer look at these tanning accelerators and see if they're right for you.Pros:Potentially Deeper Tan: Some users report achieving a darker tan faster when using tanning gels, especially those who find it difficult to tan naturally. Can Be Used With Sunbeds or Outdoors: These gels often work with both sunlight and UV rays from tanning beds, offering some versatility.Cons:Uneven Results: Tanning gels can lead to uneven tanning, especially if not applied meticulously.Increased Sunburn Risk: These gels are designed to accelerate tanning, but that also means they increase your risk of sunburn. Always follow safe sun practices and reapply sunscreen regularly, even when using a tanning gel.No SPF: Most tanning gels, including Intensive Tanning Gels, do not contain SPF. This means they offer no protection from harmful UV rays that can cause premature aging and skin cancer.Potential for Skin Irritation: Some people experience skin irritation from the ingredients in tanning gels. It's always best to do a patch test before applying liberally.Overall, Intensive Tanning Gels might be appealing to those who have difficulty tanning or want a deeper tan quickly. However, the potential drawbacks like uneven tans, increased sunburn risk, and lack of sun protection are important to consider. Safer alternatives for achieving a tan include using a self-tanner or spending limited time in the sun while using a high-SPF sunscreen.

Didn't work for me
I had a pretty good base tan which is now starting to fade. I had on shorts and a tank top and put this tanning gel on working outside for 3 plus hours and I really didn't notice a difference. Maybe if I didn't have a base tan already I might have noticed a difference on white skin, but I at least expected a little darkening and refreshing and I didn't see it. It smells way better than most of the self tanners I have tried. This was my first experience with a gel that's actually supposed to work with the sun. Maybe it was working but I just couldn't tell. It felt pretty moisturizing to my skin as well. I did not have any sun screen on either so I would have expected more results.
