Really cool dryer
If you 3D print, you really should get a dryer. I'm not hard core, I only dry after finishing with a reel and then I vacuum seal it with desiccant. The dryer, really made a difference and saved at least 2 reel of PLA filament that had become brittle and unusable. It basically paid for itself right here. After reviewing many dryer designs I decided on the Creality Space PI. I assumed they knew how to apply and tune PID controllers for optimum heat control, and after using the product, yes, they did nail the tuning and temperature control, it is very good. Nice work! Reason this is important is the last thing you want is massive temperature overshoots that can damage your filament. The user interface (UI) is simple to use and innovative, although the touchscreen needs to be stiffer as touching it bends the LCD which can damage the display. I'd recommend changing the design to glass. The display is bright, modern, and large enough to read across the room. I also like that it remembers your last settings. Would be even better if it had a real time clock, and could tell you when your timer was finished. No big deal though. The device itself is pretty good, although it's made mostly of plastics which as we all know can melt and aren't the best insulators. I wasn't impressed by how much heat leakage this device has, making it very inefficient. The fan is quiet enough, and appears to have decent air flow. I was impressed by seeing actual ball bearings for using it with the printer, so the outside of the reel rolls on the bearings. That wasn't cheap, and nice to see that someone isn't cost downing a product to junk. The inside does have enough space to dry your desiccants too, but it's limited, especially if you plan to use the roll reel feature while printing. Would be nice if it had a pocket just for other things like desiccants. The device does have some limitations. The humidity meter stops at 15%, which makes it kind of useless for this application. I think that was the single biggest disappointment. While the drier is good at maintaining a temperature, the temperature indicated isn't totally accurate, but maybe enough for the purpose. On mine when set to 50C, the actual air temperature was 47C. Kind of a miss, and it should be within 1 degree C. It's also limited to how hot you can make it. I would like to see a dryer that can hit 80 or even 100C for the purposes of drying desiccant.I've used it for about 2 weeks continues, drying all my PLA rolls. I'll move on to PETG next week. So far, the drier seems reliable. No bugs, no strange noises, no failures.I like that the seller / store added some desiccant packs and Teflon tubing. Unfortunately, they weren't packaged very professionally, and stuffed into the Creality box, and also the tubes were crushed by the packing material. While it was thoughtful that they included extras, this is basically product tampering. A 3rd party should not be opening a sealed carton. Recommend you guys attach it to the side, or not include extras and just lower the price, or add other incentives.Overall, a very nice dryer, modern design, and it's easy to use. Not perfect, but worthy of 5 stars.

Best bang for buck.
I ordered this dryer for myself due to high humidity summers. We can get an outside humidity of up to 100%. I run 2 different 3d printers both are flashforge but unfortunately that company no longer provides a dryer. Let's cover things shall we.Setup is super simple out of the box. Basic power cable plugs in and a safety switch in the back powers the unit to standby. Once powered you have 3 options to change; material, time, and temp. There are plenty of presets for common material and it saves your custom choices. Loading filament is fairly simple, nice long ptfe tube's help with guiding to your printer if you print straight from the dryer.I've seen reviews saying things about noise, we'll, I can't hear it over my printers so I would say if you can tolerate a 3d printer you're fine. It managed to get 2 full spools of pla from 48% down to under 30 in about 15 minutes. So far the only con I would see is the "touchscreen" has a weird blackout effect wherever you push which at first is concerning but not permanent so far.I would highly recommend this dryer for people looking to dry multiple spools and even print from!

Very good drier!
Pros: Used this dryer on about a dozen 2kg spools my brother in law gifted me. Worked wonderfully.Cons: the membrane switch panel seems a bit delicate.

Works very well
This filament dryer works well. I considered buying a second one so I could dry 4 rolls at a time, then upgraded to a printer with a built in dryer. I like the digital controls. It has presets, and they are easy to override for custom settings.

Dead 41 days after purchase....
The media could not be loaded. Used the dryer for 41 days after purchase very lightly. Maybe had 20-30 hours of drying filament max.Today I wake up to use it. Load it with filament and turn it on to hear a loud loud wining/grinding noise (video) coming from it.After a minute or so I feel inside and notice now the heater doesn't work and the noise is getting louder.Contact creality and my initial email had all the information: proof of purchase on September 10th, sireal number, the video of it powered on and whining/grinding, and the information that it is not heating either. I asked how to get a replacement since it's still under manufacturing warranty.I get a email back about an hour later from a Chinese email I can't read asking me to do what I have already done and provide what I have already provided. So I emailed back telling them that the initial email already has all this in it.. then they never responded again.Thankfully Amazon took care of their customer allowing me to return it and placed a note against the seller(creality).Buyer beware. You will not get any type of product support from creality if your item breaks 11 days outside of Amazon's return window from creality. I really only wanted creality to be held accountable and didn't really care about getting a refund and return. But Amazon went above and beyond.10/10 for Amazon0/10 for creality.

Necessity for FDM printers
For FDM printing, drying your filament improves print quality and is a necessity for certain materials. This dryer fits 2 spools, is easy to use, and works well. It uses a fan to force air around the filament to facilitate drying, rather than just temp alone, so there will be fan noise. Easy read touch screen for adjustments.Setup is easy - it has preset temps for material type which can also be adjusted if desired, and then you just set the timer and let it run. Filament can also be fed directly to your printer from ports on the top of the dryer, which is also super convenient (although I have not used this function yet). There are many options for filament drying out there, and this one works perfect.
