Effective monitoring
The Accsoon SeeMo lets you connect your iPhone or iPad to an HDMI camera and turn it into a real-time monitor for when you are video recording or live streaming. It supports 4K video and I found it really easy to set up.Great for filmmakers and streamers who need a portable, wireless solution and don’t want to tether to a larger screen.Not the cheapest solution but it is good quality.Recommended.

It take a bit of a learning curve but I like it and its improved my video captures.
I have recently being doing video and have tried an iPhone, and small Osmo Pocket, but with the limitations of both I wanted something more substantial. Regrettably the iPhone was too ‘wobbly’ and the Pocket didn’t alway give level filming with its inbuilt gimbal.Now since I have a few digital SLRs and mirrorless cameras, this would seem tone the best solution.This turns your iPhone into a facing monitor. Better positioned then the rear view from the camera and it allows recording not just to your cameras SD card but also to the phone, be it in a less qulality.Its small enough to put in my camera bag and since I already have a large power pack this attaches to the rear to make certain I do not run down the iPhones battery. Ok that makes it heavier but a small price to pay.This accessory allows you to turn your iPhone into a field monitor for your digital camera and stream using your Mirrorless camera. I will not do an exhaustive review since there are many available on the internet, but I will talk about their advantages, disadvantages and my personal impressions.Records up to 4K (which nowadays is a bit limiting with 6K and 8K recorders) but more than sufficient for me.It does obviously need an iPhone, battery and cable but, fortunately I have all of those.I have yet to master all the controls to get the best of the Accsoon SeeMo but for the period I have had it, three weeks, it is invaluable to me and having two video capture devices, including the Osmo Pocket, I have versatility.
