Quality Materials, Durable Build & Comfortable To Use
The media could not be loaded. The all-aluminum stubby handle has a detachable shaft with a magnetic tip to keep the bits securely attached to the shaft. The handle measures approx. 36.24mm in diameter with notches cut out around the circumference which provides extra grip. All the sharp edges/burrs have been removed making it feel very comfortable in hand. The length is approx. 87.61mm and 110.69mm with the precision adapter attached. It would have been nice if the black part of the handle with the Steinwhale logo was also on a bearing to help with rotation, but the smooth aluminum should rotate smoothly while you’re applying pressure. The back of the handle is flat, so you can actually place it upright and not worry it will roll away. The removable shaft is approx. 68mm in length with knurling on the end to help with finger grip. I noticed that the walls that hold the bits in place in the shaft have been notched. Not sure if notched is the right word, but I don’t think I’ve seen this in screwdriver sets before. I think this would make it easier to insert bits that aren’t 100% compliant in size. I’m not sure if this is the reason, but if it is, that is an excellent detail to have considered. The set also includes a 1/4" to 4mm converter attachment allowing you to use the 4mm precision bits on the stubby handle. The magnet inside is also strong and should hold the bits firmly in place. This can quality be converted over to a precision screwdriver via the bearing top attachment. The top spins with minimal friction allowing you to work on delicate screws with precision. You can apply pressure to the screw and spin the driver with your fingertips without having to lift off pressure for it to rotate. Attaching the removable shaft from the stubby handle, it allows you to use any regular 1/4" sized bits or you can attach the precision bit adapter and use any standard 4mm sized precision bits easily. The bits are made of a strong S2 steel. After doing some research, S2 steel is usually used on higher end tool products as they’re more durable and corrosion resistant than Chrome Vanadium (CRV) tools and should provide extra durability to the bits. The 1/4” regular bits have a Zirconium plating that will provide an extra level of strength and corrosion resistance to an already durable bit. It looks like it is spelt incorrectly as Zirconium doesn’t have a K in the spelling. The 20 x precision bits have a lot of security bits meant for mobile devices like the Pentalobe screws. The 20 x standard bits with the Zirconium plating have a Titanium like yellow tint. These bits also have security Torx bits. There have been multiple situations when I tried to disassemble a device only to be stopped because of the security screw. The security bits also double as regular Torx bits, so it maximizes its usability.Overall, I’d highly recommend the Steinwhale 44pcs screwdriver set. It has a durable aluminum stubby handle capable of using both standard 1/4" & precision 4mm bits. It can then easily be converted to a precision screwdriver with a bearing top for smooth control. This too can be used with both regular and precision bits and switched between with ease. The selection of bits included should allow you to disassemble any mobile device or get into small spaces when working on your car or other device/piece of equipment. At the time of this review, the screwdriver set was priced at $34.99 with an additional $5 off coupon available.

Useful Spare.
This is a useful set to have around for quick fixes. Not every odd job requires a trip to the shed or toolbox, so this kit I've found handy to keep around in a spare drawer or closet. The construction of this screwdriver is solid, and the base itself has a quality weight to it that fits in your hand nicely. It would be helpful if this item had a ratchet functionality to lessen the work/strain involved, but again, you'll likely use this for quick jobs -- like opening a battery compartment on your child's toy, or tightening a loose screw on a fixture. The smaller size definitely makes it useful for cramped spaces as well. Particularly for those hard to reach angles when putting together a random piece of Swedish furniture. The number of attachments is also very impressive for such a small kit, but the downside is that there is no included storage case. I recommend cutting alongside the vertical edge of the package to create an opening, and then using the four 'snaps' on the blister pack to store & retrieve the screwdriver when needed. Not ideal, but better than nothing as they say.As I said, this is a perfect set to have kicking around your home, and it is reasonably priced given the number of bits included and the quality of the base. It just might become somewhat strenuous to use for larger projects over longer periods.

Screwdriver Set: Handy but Missing Some Key Features
This universal screwdriver set is a handy tool that comes with a nice variety of different bits, especially suited for electronics and small fasteners. However, it's missing the ratcheting feature you'd usually find in such screwdrivers. This makes it feel a bit pricey, and it's a bummer that there's no storage case to keep everything tidy. The screwdriver itself feels well-made and sturdy, with a magnetic feature to keep the bits in place. It's got a good weight to it, making it comfortable to use. It's a good choice for working on small electronics and general tasks, but it would be even better with ratcheting. One more thing, a storage case would be really helpful because the packaging isn't great at keeping those small bits in check. A simple plastic case or even a cloth bag would do the trick.
