I was wanting a nice short cable for a few applications and this cable is perfect. It supports both high data rates and high charge currents. It is very flexible as well. The bright yellow color will help me remember to grab it and not misplace it. I've only used it a few times so can't speak to longevity, but they seem well made.

Works great for car charging light items. Not gonna tangle up. The neon color makes it stand out in the console.

The problem with a flash drive and a laptop is that laptops don’t spend most of their life on a desk. Laptops spend a lot of time on your lap, in bed, on a couch, being moved, etc. With a flash drive sticking out of the laptop it is quite easy to bend or break the flash drive’s usb-c connector or the connector in the laptop.This short cable is a good way to connect a flash drive to the laptop as it functions as a “flexible joint”. There are other short cables out there, but those connectors are long enough to still allow damage to your laptop port. This usb-c connector is almost nonexistent, and keeps your laptop port as safe as possible without having to give up your active lifestyle and stuck working a your desk or cable.I really love this cable, and the bright yellow makes it hard to lose or hard to forget something is plugged into your laptop when you pick it up to move it. I highly recommend.

Works better then expected. Didn't slow down usb c one bit. Got this because no USB C flashdrive would connect to my phone without taking the case off. This works perfectly!

Not sure how common an issue this is, but mine did not work at all. I connected it to several devices, in multiple positions, could not get any power at all.
