Great second or third printer! You can't beat Creality's price points when it comes to printers. I was cross shopping this, a Voron, and a Flying Bear Reborn, and unfortunately the Flying Bear no longer ships to the US, so Ender 5 Plus it is! I'll say for <$500, this is a great value considering the size of the printer you get. On top of that, this printer uses extremely standard parts (not a knock on Creality, this is a big deal), so upgrading it is very easy.Actual assembly was straightforward, the provided pamphlet did a good breakdown of every step. It took me about 4 hours from cutting open the box to printing a test print that Creality provided. After that it took me about another hour to level the bed and get it really dialed in. All in this was a very straightforward experience.Noise wise, it is about 15% louder than my Ender 3 was, mostly due to having more motors and being too big to put in an enclosure. If you are sensitive to noise, this is not the printer for you.The built-in display controller is actually quite good. I was pleasantly surprised to see it came with bed leveling software built-in. That made doing the initial leveling and z-stop adjustment very easy. Brightness wise it's not too bright or too dim.So far, print quality looks very good using SuperSlicer default values. I haven't dumped a ton of time or energy into it so far, but initial test prints look very good. Compared to how much tinkering I had to do with my Ender 3, this printer saved a lot of time and effort and more or less was very good out of the box.All that being said, this is not necessarily a good printer for beginners. Creality's QC is usually pretty good, but at rock bottom prices like this, there has to be compromises *somewhere*. If you're not mechanically or electrically inclined, Creality printers are not for you. If you are a beginner, consider a Prusa or Bambu printer (although maybe not Bambu after their cloud debacle), and factor in the higher cost for better QC.It's my personal and anecdotal experience that Creality generally ships good printers, but you are rolling the dice on most of the non-frame components: Things like bed being warped from the factory are a thing, and happened to me on another printer. The extruder plate is known to crack after time. The bed springs they ship are usually terrible and need to be replaced, in order to hold a level.BUT. If you love to tinker and want to learn, this is a great printer for the value.

Right out od the box it looked like Creality went backwards on what i assume is supposed to be and upgrade. I was really expecting something a lot more advanced Since I have several Ender 3 v2 machines As well as the Ender 3 And the Ender 3 pro . This machine is more for a beginner and will make a good first time machine . However I have used it now non stop for 3 days and Have had No issues. I really like the features such as No adjustments on the bed those are such a pain to use sometimes ,Leveling is a snap Assemble went really good i had it up and running in less then 10 mins. But i am an advanced Hobbyist. this machine come with 2 lead rods and I think it makes it more stable and will keep it alignment better And i love the Sprite Hotend auto loading/unload is a plus . I may just retire my Ender 3 v2;s and buy another Ender3V3 . Above I only give 1 star for the Touch screen Feature However again .The machine i got didn't come with a touch screen .

Dont buy this. I have a Ender 5 s1 and several Ender 3's. I got this to replace the Ender 5 s1 for the build size. Shipping was fine. This is a brand new never used machine. Set up was the same and about the same time as setting up all the others. Seriously this thing is a joke. it wont even print a sample print without issues. So far out of the last 3 days nothing has printed completely. Day one. adjustments to the slicing software, typical. level the bed which I've done hundreds of times start the machine and its screaming. research that and find out the unit has an OLD 8bit board . WHAT thats like 1950 hardware. build fails stopped printing for no reason. Day two try another build the filament sensor is broken its clamped down on the filament and wont move. had to cut it and just feed in in without it, brand new machine and parts are broken already. build failed. figured well lets see if I can change it over to working on the sonic pad, go through the sonic pad set up the ender 5 plus is in there run the set up and the unit wont except the flash. tried 4 times and it fails. stops communicating after 5 second. even connected to a computer same issue. so gave up on that idea. day 3 set all setting in slicing software to default new set up. attempting to run a test build. the ^%$#*&^ head is clogged. really a new machine and the head is clogged. same filament I run on all the others and the freakin head is clogged. fix that go back to running the build and now the build plate won't hold the correct build height. at one try it was seriously 4 inches from the nozzle.. research all this and come to find out anyone who has one spent a ton of money replacing all the crap parts on the unit with afte market before they could get it to run. why would I ever spend that kind of money on something that should work out of the box. Dont buy this. biggest piece of junk I've ever EVER had the displeasure of using. compaired to the others I have this thing is from the stone age.

This is amazing for the price the its size is just right for most things I print and its bed adhesion is really good and its fast

Very good for the price. Easy to set up. Just plug and play. I'd almost say it's travel friendly but you do have to keep up with the screws. At one point it was loud.... but then it stopped being loud. Must have been a loose screw or the fan inside had shifted weird and then went back. Idk.
