Works Great Right Out of the Box
Using with a Nubia z60 ultra. It is just wide enough to fit the phone. As soon as the phone was connected to the usb type c port the controller worked immediately. Start my Nintendo ds emulator and it worked perfectly. I did not have to do anything to get it to work. I mainly play rpg games, but i do not see any lag. No complaints on comfort or button feel. Would buy it again.

You cannot charge iPhone 15 while this is plugged in
The media could not be loaded. I recently bought GameSir X2s Typc C and it works really well. It is compatible with IPhone 15. No input lag very easy and nice to use. It has a premium feel to it and does not feel cheap. The buttons are not mushy, no squeaking or springy sounds and it has a nice rubber grip on the back. Fits the IPhone 15 Pro Max perfectly. The GameSir app doesn’t list the X2s Type C so can’t update firmware. My only two problem with this is that if you’re an IPhone user and you want to charge your phone while using this device, the charge will just keep connecting and disconnecting. I wish the description would have mentioned this. None of the reviews on YouTube mention this either. Had to do a search on google which brought me to the website which does say not all phone models are compatible with charging. Description should be updated so that other potential buyers are aware. Also in the instructions it says to wake up the controller from standby mode by pressing A, B, X , Y and the Home button simultaneously but that didn’t work for me and the only way that works is by unplugging and reconnecting your phone.

Works for me.
I bought a Red Magic 10. I loaded it with Retroarch and PPSSPP. This works great and fits my phone nicely. Built quality seems descent. And the button work nicely. Wish it was a little more ergonomic but for the price I like it.

Unfortunately disappointed
Don't buy. Ive gone threw 2 of these already and Ive only played each one for a few hours. Tried all troubleshooting there was. It's a shame, I liked the quality alot. It's just after a gaming session, I put it down and it stopped working

Great controller for my iphone 15
For the price this things great. Right out of the box i stuck my phone in it and started playing metal storm (arial combat game) Didnt have to set anything up, this thing was good to go. Buttons are responsive with no lag. Switched over to an emulator and played some mario 64 and starfox. Ill try a FPS game next. So far im very pleased with my purchase!Edit: daughter removed phone from the controller and bent the connector. Asurion is not accepting my proof of purchase for my insurance claim. Hopefully we can get it squared away

Despite minor issues, I love mine
I love mine, was actually recommended this product from a coworker who said he loved his gamesir as it's the only one that actually works with foldable phones (pixel fold, galaxy fold.) I have a pixel fold & it honestly makes it feel like an old school nintendo ds & I love it.The only issue I had was that whenever I swipe up on the bar at the bottom to go to the homescreen, the device suddenly would stop working. A simple reboot of my phone typically fixed it - until one day it didn't work anymore. Turns out the little usbC that my phone would normally plug into receeded into the device like a little turtle head making it unusable. I would have given a 3 or 4 star review because of that alone, BUT I decided to reach out to company itself regarding the warranty. After providing proof of purchasing the gamesir & explaining what was wrong with the defect I got a replacement in the mail not too long afterwards. So for that amazing customer service, I gotta give them a 5 star review. I can't wait to bust out my new replacement & play some more games like an old school DS. Thank you gamesir!

Not perfect, but better than spending 100 bucks on a Backbone
Inconsistent with charging, and I didn't even bother trying the remapping app seeing it's horrible reviews in the Play Store, but using the controller itself is great. The sticks are great, triggers are great. I do really like the 2ds vibe. Ya the a,b,x,y buttons are in an awkward spot with the stick getting in the way a little. However, I would prefer to deal with that than have something more bulky just to play Mobile games. I was huge into the 2ds back in the day though so I am used to the brick like form factor. I will say that there is a nice textured back grip for your hands to wrap around. All in all, I think it's a great deal for the price, just don't expect to charge your phone consistently while using it or make any software changes. To get charging to work I had to use a fast charger. I don't know how much it's actually pulling because the phone itself is not fast charging while in the controller, but the charger that actually works for me is a 65W charger. Even then though, charging is odd. For example, I can unplug the charging cable and plug it back in and it won't charge. I have to unplug and replug the phone into the controller and than plug in the charging cable (or leave the charging cable plugged into the controller during unplugging and replugging in the phone). Despite the odd issues, I would rather spend the asking price for this than shell out 100 bucks for a backbone or 70 bucks for something more bulky.
