Good iron .... until it wasn't
Lightweight, F and C scale easily adjusted. I like the quick buildup of heat. Gets to work fast....The above is what I said when I first bought the iron. Now, it's not so great. The heat transfer is next to non-existent. I changed out the soldering tip when this issue first arose. I have double-checked that I put everything back in place correctly. But the iron just isn't as good now as it was months ago. Soldering anything -- diodes, IC sockets, etc. -- is a chore. I fear I'm leaving behind cold solders. Worse, I'm wasting time struggling with this iron and then having to perform minute tests afterwards in addition to the general testing I perform after a finished board.I have tightened the bottom ring to ensure a firm hold on the heating element. I don't really know what else to do. I most likely will buy another iron.

Doesn’t meet expectations
The soldering iron says it gets 932 degrees but it never got over 200 degrees. I’m an automotive technician and expected it to perform. Did not meet expectations. The customer service manager reached out to me after the review and offered to make it right. It was unexpected and appreciated. Customer service is great.

Got one use before errors
Update: Seller contacted me and issued a refund. Perhaps I just got a single bad unit but at least they stand behind their product, much appreciated.Got one good use out of it when I first bought it and then about a month later I used it and keep getting F - E errors. It's crazy how hard it is to buy a good soldering iron nowadays at a reasonable price... all the units on Amazon have these same sounding reviews. When it did work it came up to temp fast and got quite hot and held it well, just a shame it failed so soon.

I may have been using it wrong.
Why you may ask? I'm used to bigger and heavier, faster heating soldering irons. The tips usually heat up fast. It may be because this one was cheap but still. It didn't do the best probably because I didn't let it heat all the way. I still got the job done, even though I kind of cooked the board.. Maybe I'll give it more time next time I play with it. 4/10 as of now. Did work, so it gets bonus points.
