Went with this lock-set for an outdoor pool restroom. This is ideal if we are having a backyard get together with a lot of people and someone needs to know if the restroom is occupied or not. This handle cannot be unlocked using a screwdriver or coin, adding to security. It seems very durable and usable in either commercial or residential applications. The handle can be easily swapped to accommodate a left or right side door entry. This is keyed Schlage, and if you have locksmith experience, you can re-key this lock fairly easy as I did. Once the lock cylinder is removed, there is a cap that is pressed on that has to be removed carefully before you can begin the re-key process.

They are heavy duty and work well. But I can't yet speakto their longevity.Three months later and both have failed.The first one would say In Use and lock when no one would be in there.The second one now won't move the indicator at all.These are junk. DO NOT BUY!!!

I live in a house with 5+ people so It can be quite difficult to manage one bathroom for everyone. So far it's done a great job showing who's in the bathroom without knocking or bothering people. It locks really well.

The locks stopped working, the locks would let customers out. The knob turns by itself.

I was on the hunt for a new door handle with a lock for our downstairs bathroom and I came across this. I definitely recommend this product for anyone who has a busy household. It comes with easy for follow instructions which makes installation a breeze. I was able to do it on my own and it only took a couple of minutes. The handle is very heavy duty nice and sturdy material.

Unfortunately, my door hinge is on the opposite side of the default orientation. I figured this would be okay since the description indicates this door knob is reversible. The instructions on how to reverse the handles are not clear and I couldn't get it to work properly. Ultimately, I installed it upside down, which works, but the indicator is harder to see. The installation would have been super easy if the hinge had been on the right hand side with respect to the exterior side of the door. The photos others have posted seem to show this orientation. I'm going to dock 2 stars for insufficient documentation.The materials seem to be good quality and the keys are the standard Schlage type.

This interior door knob is a really great find. Perfect for office bathrooms. Smooth action in the chamber, the bolt and handle. Strong metal materials. Highly recommend
