I got this thinking it was a bulk powdered protein for like, smoothies and such, so was quite surprised to receive a very small bag of the stuff marked as cosmetic-grade.I DO actually make some of my own soaps and cosmetics, but I don't think I would ever use it in any of those products, given how common wheat allergies and intolerances are. I personally have no issues with wheat and actually love gluten-based protein as a food additive -- it makes doughs delightfully stretchy! -- so I may just hope that if it's cosmetic grade, it's food grade as well, and just go ahead and use it that way anyway? But I don't feel entirely confident about doing that.
