These are really nice kitchen timers. They can both countdown like normal timers, and have a count-up functions too (like a stopwatch).I like that the digits are nice and large so are easy to see even from afar.The design is sleek and rounded so they're comfortable to handle.There is a little black switch on the side that allows you to switch off the display when it's not in use to save the battery a little. Batteries are not included - it uses one AAA battery.Every button press creates a "beep", and the same volume of beeping occurs when the timer is up. It's a good volume, being comfortably loud: loud enough to be heard well without being so loud that it's painful.The one thing I would have liked to be improved on these is the little kickstand which is made of thin plastic so feels a little bit flimsy - but it does work. I just hope it holds up over time. It would have been better with thicker, sturdier plastic for the stand.

The timer is easy to use and works well but the strength of the magnet is far from great. This leads to the timer falling from the fridge on a regular basis

Ordered for my mum, good value for two although would have preferred just the one but with a battery.

The media could not be loaded.  I use these timers all the time and they are incredibly useful.The buttons are big and easy to press. The display is bright and easy to read. The alarm is loud enough to be heard from another room and is a standard beeping sound.There’s a hanging hook, magnet and stand at the back, so you can choose how you want to display them.They need one AAA battery each, which isn’t supplied. With daily use, they easily last over 2 months with one battery.There’s an off switch that can be used to preserve the battery, but the timer won’t remember the saved settings after it’s been turned off.When the battery is running low, the display will start to fade and be harder to read, but the timer will still work and will still sound the alarm.The timers will go off for about 30 seconds before stopping.I mainly use them in the kitchen to take the guesswork out of cooking and prevent burning meals.To ensure they don’t get dirty, I wrap them in clingfilm. That way, I can still see the screen and use the buttons, but it makes them a bit splash proof and I can replace the clingfilm cover if needed.
