It’s a great helper for holding a camera! Quite stable when the camera swings, and now I can get a full view from the camera with nothing blocking.

I’ve used this monitor system for all three of my kids. Got the original set as a gift and then purchased add on cameras. The picture is clear along with sound and the microphone works well. My only complaint is that our first monitor stopped holding a charge (2 years after receiving) so I contacted the seller to see if I could get a replacement for just the monitor. They informed me that they weren’t in stock and I would have to purchase the entire set again which sucked because it was more expensive. They said they would contact me if the monitor came back in stock to purchase which they never did so I ended up having to buy a whole other set again. Not sure if that was their plan all along but my warranty was over and I didn’t purchase the extended warranty because it was gifted. So if purchasing the entire set and not just the add on camera I suggest adding on the extending warranty just incase.

We had our monitor for about 4 months when the charging port became defective. To charge, you have to hold the device at an upright angle constantly. Even after holding it upright for hours, it will not hold a charge and will die as soon as you unplug it. I emailed the support team as it says there is a 12 month warranty.In order to get any kind of refund or replacement, they first made me send a pic, then a video, and now require you to send the entire kit back and provide them with the serial number from the box. It is as 4 months ago, I no longer have the box.In addition, I can’t return it before getting a replacement because then I would have no monitor at all to watch my baby and who knows how long it would take them to receive and then process a replacement?I’ve had issues with other monitor brands with my other kid and they simply sent a replacement right away. I can’t believe that even with video proof of the defect they are making me wait for them to receive the bad product before they will process a replacement.Because I need a monitor NOW, I am just going to buy from another seller. 0/10 customer service, do not recommend.

We have loved this camera so far. The picture quality is great and has a very large screen. It does not use WiFi which was what we wanted. It has a long reach, we can be sitting by the fire in our backyard which is 50 yards from the nursery and it still connects without issue. The battery life on the monitor isnt the best, but its for sure not terrible. We keep it plugged in most of the time anyways beside our bed.

I bought this for my dog and cat actually. My previous camera is kind of useless, because it sits nicely on the table. Dog and cat just don’t show up in the camera~ I have been looking for something I can attach to my desk legs. I don’t like command adhesive strips, because there is residue all the time. This product just functions as I expected. Let’s see how long it will last until my cat realizes she needs to hide from it.

Amazing quality!! Little guy tossed our vava screen in the toilet so I ordered this as it looked of similar quality, and it is!!The screen even pairs with my vava camera!

I actually received an original Vava branded unit even though I ordered thr Hipp unit. So I think the Hipp branded unit is exactly the same. I had one of these for 2.5 years and my only complaint is that the plastic became brittle over time so the kickstand wold no longer lock in place and the antenna broke off after it fell over and dropped off a side table. It has a much larger battery than other monitors so you don't get anxiety leaving it unplugged. It can even safely be left unplugged overnight (it will alarm to tell you when the battery is low if you are worried). The night vision is lower resolution than the 1080p Vtech unit I tried, but the Vava/Hipp unit never loses it connection or has a low battery (unlike the Vtech unit) which is way more important.This camera doesn't have 1080p or wifi but it is rock solid reliable. I would highly recommend.

Battery JUST lasts overnight (12 hrs). Great night vision and pretty good range. Have been using it for two months now. Does the job for me, as long as I remember to charge it.

Hands down best baby monitor !

This is a decent non-wifi monitor. The sound and image quality are great, and we like the zoom capabilities. Battery life is not amazing. I rarely see it get up to full charge, and overnight we find it's best to keep the monitor plugged in. We haven't tested out the range except for once at a friend's condo when it didn't reach past the elevator, so I wouldn't plan on using this for any long-range monitoring.
