I use this thing at least one a week since we have purchased it. it is awesome. Use it for everything- chicken, brisket, turkey, deserts and more. If you dont mind spending a bit more, skip the hardware or department store ones and get this one. You will not regret it.

I always flavor infect my turkeys before cooking at the holidays, and historically, I have always used the cheap plastic injectors that come with the marinade. While i do not have any gripes with those, this kit is substantially better equipped with better options to allow you to control the delivery of marinade to where you want it in the meat. The gun itself is a mix of high quality and medium quality components, but feels substantial in the hand, and the mechanism that operates the plunger is durable and smooth. Initially, I was having trouble with the plunger sliding right back down the barrel after pulling it back to draw up the liquid, but I quickly figured out that I could turn the knob at the end of the plunger rod to increase or decrease the tension on the rubber O ring that seals against the inside of the barrel. Once I got that right, it works very well. Cleaning is relatively straightforward. It comes with a few bottle brushes to clean the inside of the various components, and the rest can be accomplished by rinsing or washing with soap in the sink. The storage case that it comes with is also a nice touch, and gives the unit a very high-end feel that is sure to score you some street cred at the neighborhood barbeque. Overall, I am happy with this kit and envision using it for many years to come.

This injector is easy to use, and easier to clean up. The high quality construction allows quick draw up of solution.

We use it for our bbq competitions

We used this twice and the thread on the plastic barrel stripped. I complained to the company and was told they would send a new barrel. I am so upset, this wasn’t a cheap purchase. Now I am waiting for a new barrel but who knows how long that will last. I regret buying this product.
