Small, useful and delivers on its promises
I was surprised with its small size, which is a plus. The box works intuitively without the need for setup and you can get going in minutes. The RGB is in a rainbow pattern by default, but with a firmware update you can get from the company's website, I was immediately able to control the lights from the Windows interface itself without any extra software, which was incredibly convenient. It comes with an HDMI cable of good quality. The only lesser component in the package is the 3.5mm cable, which was picking up some static, but it's cheap to get a better one and once I swapped, it was giving me 100% clear sound. Recommended!

Excellent 120hz 2160p pass-through!
I ordered this to use with my PS5 and I'm so glad I did! It's one of the only capture devices that has actually worked and allows me to pass-through without a single issue.Everything is ticked on the PS5 when linked to my Oled and there is no stuttering or tearing, VRR and HDR gaming is smooth without interruption and I can record gameplay effortlessly whilst playing. It passes through Atmos to my receiver too. Others I've had would limit and my receiver would only allow 5.1 even through Atmos was ticked. It supports up to 2160p at 144hz and 1080p at 244hz but be warned the recording is limited to 2160p 60hz, no issue for me with that as the majority of games I currently play are 60hz but rest assured you can pass-through to your 120hz screen at full resolution whilst recording.Well worth the money in my view. I've had loads in the past which were a waste of money and wish I'd got this originally!

Works well - recommended
A good product and easy to use.Only problem I have experienced is that you have to toggle the HDMI protection on and off before it works.

Excellent video capture card, exceptionally easy to set up and great results
If you are looking for a capture card, look no further than this capture card from AVerMedia. With the ability to capture at 4k 60 fps, and 4k 144 fps passthrough on a PC (or laptop), and 4k 120 fps on a console, this covers everything you need.Inside the box you get the capture card, which is quite small considering what it can achieve. There is also a USB C cable, audio cable and HDMI cable, plus instruction sheet. To use, install the AVerMedia software from the website, connect the USB cable and the HDMI cable and away you go. The software allows you to control the RGB lighting, and be as specific as you require for your gaming setup. In use, there is a very slight delay lag, almost un-noticeable, but it is there, however all capture cards suffer from this. This really is an excellent, easy to use and exceptionally easy to set up capture card.

Smart device that looks good.
Overall a very good device, Never ran into any issues setting it up and OBS took to it straight away without an issue. It comes with a Hdmi cable, USB c to c cable & a jack which you can connect to your controller or headphones.Inside the box is a qr code you can scan which will then take you to a page which has videos on set up and has a faq/help section for anyone having a problem.Just ensure you will need a laptop/pc that takes USB c cables, I imagine you could purchase a usb c to usb cable and it would still work however I cannot verify that as I didn’t need to do this but it’s a possibility.

Fantastic for both gaming and streaming
I recently got the AVerMedia HDMI Capture Card 2.1, and it's been fantastic for both gaming and streaming. I’m using it with my PS5 and PC, my gameplay looking stunning and records in high quality. Games look more vibrant and run smoothly. One feature I really like is the Live Party Chat. I can plug in my headset directly to the card and control the game and chat volume while streaming, which makes it easy to engage with my viewers. The card works well with next-gen consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, taking full advantage of HDMI 2.1 capabilities. Plus, there's customisable RGB lighting, so I can make my gaming setup look cool. Overall, if you're into streaming or recording your gameplay, this capture card is a fantastic choice.
