13.5oz Double Layer Stainless Steel Self Stirring Coffee Mug (black) by OYT

I would have given this 5 stars except that it's not microwaveable, something I didn't realize when I ordered it! I bought this mug because I drink milky mocha. I add a tablespoon full of powdered cocoa mix to a half mug of coffee in the morning and fill the mug with whole milk - it's delicious! However, the cocoa mix invariably sinks to the bottom and I have to keep stirring. But even that doesn't do the job as when I've finished my coffee there's always been a layer of cocoa at the bottom. The drawback with this self-stirring mug is that I have to first mix my drink in a regular mug and heat it in the microwave because, of course, the milk makes it too cold drink. I then pour it into this mug and press the button to stir it, then press the button every once in awhile to stir it again. It works very, very well. It stirs just enough to mix it but not enough to cool it down. I've had for almost two weeks now, used it every morning, and have never yet had a layer of cocoa at the bottom. Just as the article about it on AOL stated, this is one of those things that Amazon sells that you didn't know you needed. But now that I have it, I need it! I'm so happy I bought two of them just in case.

I LOVE this cup! It's great for making Bullet Proof Coffee, and without the mess of having to use another device to mix and froth it up. I LOVE that the body is stainless steel...I've had other self mixing mugs that worked great until the plastic casing started cracking after a few weeks of use. I'm hoping this one holds up, and it seems like it will. Highly recommend!

After trying out the first Self-Stir-Cup, I purchased more for family members, which they all have enjoyed! My wife and I use them most for drinking 'Bulletproof Coffee' and mixing powdered pre-biotics! All of these cups have functioned very well! Of course, we keep them clean and fresh after each use!(By the way, if you do not know, Bulletproof Coffee (Some call it "Butter-Coffee") is a fresh ground cup of coffee with 1 tablespoon of grass-fed butter and 1 tablespoon of organic coconut oil mixed together and then blending or frothing it for 12 to 20 seconds. This cup helps keep the mixture nice and frothy while we are drinking it!)

It worked fine until it was time to wash it. I bought 2, one for me and one for my husband now, neither 1 works after only a few uses. I guess the battery compartment simply cannot get wet. But how do you wash a cup with out getting it wet. Nope, it was never submerged. I washed them initially before use with no batteries in, being very careful. The first cup worked just fine (the second one hadn't been used yet). Used the first one 2 times, washed it both times being careful not to get the battery compartment wet. After 2nd time it quit. We went on to use the 2nd one trying to be even more careful thinking perhaps we did something wrong. Well after 2 maybe 3 uses-it doesn't work either. My husband uses the cup now only because he says it keep his coffee and tea hot for a very long time. Cute cup but very disappointed that it doesn't work.

Works great, until it doesn't. I wish they would make this type of mug last longer than 3 months. I would buy another one but I'm afraid it won't last long. This is my second one. First one lasted less than 2 months. Sorry, really can't recommend this mug.

I can't speak to the longevity of this product but I can say it works well, makes a little froth at the top of my bulletproof coffee and is easy to wash up after each use. I like that it's stainless steel and larger than a standard coffee mug.

Call me silly, but I love these things. This one seems to be holding up better than most too.

Broke after two uses. Thought maybe I put bad batteries in but that was not the case.

Worked for a couple weeks. Even with hand washing and being careful, the blade wouldn't turn unless you helped it bet started, this was 2nd day. After a week or two it wouldn't work at all.

Push a button and stir you coffee. A great gizmo. Also works to mix up your hot chocolate.

NO GOOD

I should have believed the bad reviews. I use this in my office for one or two cups of coffee a day. I was careful to hand wash the inside only and wipe down the outside with a slightly damp towel. It started to get bad when I had to help the motor spin with my finger, but now that doesn't even work. The lid has the cheapest seal ever and doesn't stay on at all; the only thing keeping it on is gravity. The inside is cheap thin aluminum and everything else, including the battery compartment is cheap thin plastic. The seller must be making 1000% profit on each one they sell; cost on these is realistically around $3. They are funny I guess, but I bought it to actually use, not get a laugh at. I could deal with the cheapness when it worked, but not a month later when it rendered itself useless and stopped working. Don't buy this please...

It was a gift for my son he loved it but only used it 3 times and it stopped working even changed the batteries! Not worth it ! Junk!
