I bought the Ninja Detect Power Blender to help me finally conquer my daily fruit and veggie intake, and I’m thrilled to say this blender has truly saved my day (and my health)! As someone who struggles with certain textures, especially when it comes to veggies, I needed something that would help me smoothly consume them without all the texture drama. Enter: the Ninja Detect.For the first time in my life, I’m actually meeting the USDA's daily recommendations, and I couldn't be happier. This blender has done an incredible job whipping up my daily “power shake,” including even the recipes that come with the device. It’s officially replaced our trusty (but aging) Ninja Master Prep Professional (QB1004) – which, by the way, you can no longer buy, but wow, what a difference!One of my favorite features is the Detect Mode. Seriously, all you have to do is hit the button, and let the blender handle the pulsing, stop-and-go action. I just push it, leave the kitchen, and come back to pour a perfectly blended shake. Being new to the smoothie world, I wanted to get a blender that would serve me well as I advanced in my abilities.I read a lot of reviews and looked at some of the pricier blenders. This one seemed to have many features of the more pricey ones for a more reasonable cost, and the reviews of the users were all positive.I’ve used it quite regularly now and it has done an awesome job even with ice cubes and frozen bananas, it does not hesitate to churn away.One of the neatest features is its ability to sense the consistency of the ingredients and project an accurate time for blending. Most often it is right on. Occasionally, I will add extra milk so that my smoothie is more like a milkshake rather than a frosty.I did buy the extended warranty just in case, but this blender seems to be very well built and is doing the job. I would highly recommend it.

So far this blender is amazing. I've only had it for a couple months but I'm really happy with it. I think my only complaint is not having a blender with a glass pitcher. I'm really sick of all the plastic! My last blender was an oldie with a beautiful glass pitcher. After 50 years, it finally broke. Wish they still made them like that! LolAnyway, this one is really easy to use, easy to clean and blends ice with ease. I'll edit this review in a few months if anything changes

This thing is AWESOME! It cuts everything up like a beast. I make smoothies and some veggies are frozen and some I dethaw before I blend so a mix of frozen and soft all in the blender and due to this fact I blend it twice. First I throw my spices in, frozen veggies/fruits then dethawed veggies and it just figures it out and blends then stops, blends then stops, blends and stops :D because it feels the frozen stuff on the bottom so it stops for a second or two so the frozen stuff falls back down in the blender then repeats. Love it. But I noticed my spinach wasn't being cut up as much as I like so now I blend it 2 times and perfect. It is extremely easy to clean just spray it down. The blade section does come out for easy cleaning too. Compared to my old blender (20 yrs old but still looks new) this thing is so much quicker and user friendly. I am absolutely in love with it and I am not wasting a lot of my time like I did with the old blender. I can make 2.5 days of smoothies in 15 minutes ... 4 of those minutes is blending the rest is me getting everything I need out to throw in it. The size is great! With my old blender I had to make 2 blender size of it to get 2.5 days of smoothies now I just throw everything in and get it done in no time. Big difference from 1 hour+ to 15 minutes. Also it does have suction cups on the bottom of the blender so I can literally throw everything in it and walk away to prepare the next step in my routine for the smoothies. With my old blender I would throw a dish towel in front of the blender under the footers to stop it from moving forward which was annoying and just another step. This is just the best blender ever. Love it and would buy again and again so highly recommended. Just keep in mind if you are blending a mix of frozen and fresh/dethawed stuff .. make sure you throw in the frozen stuff first to blend properly or you'll have some frozen berries or whatever left at the top so frozen first and you'll be all good.
