Seems to do the business (just as the box said it would)!
I bought three of these (for my swimming pool Consumer Unit control box) because two of my three 20-year-old Crabtree timers failed within days of each other, and I thought I'd replace all three before the third one failed too. The electrician who fitted these new ones said that connecting the wires was a little fiddly but he still managed to mount all three within 30 minutes, so it couldn't have been that difficult! They have now been in continuous use for over a month and all is well: Accurate clocks and reliable switching, so I'm completely satisfied with my purchase -- and will remain so if they prove to have a 20-year life like the Crabtree units before them. So why didn't I buy Crabtree again? Simply because the Crabtree units were three times the price of these Theben units, and both do exactly the same job.

Too fiddly for its own good!
This timer looks great and is good value for a 3 module 24hr analogue timer. It is simple to set the times and with a bit of thought...understand the clock face and trigger on/off point. So from that respect I have no complaint. However, to wire the timer is fiddly beyond compare (especially if you forgot your glasses!) with a stupid sprung loaded 'pincher' terminals for the wires. The instructions are not even clear as to how to best operate this and offer no guidance in words...just a couple of pictures. So not only do you need to use a small screwdriver to press open the terminals and then hold it in that position while you fiddle the wires into place, but you may also have to replace the wiring for a smaller gauge wire as I had to! Why not just use simple screw terminals?!?!On the plus side (and just as well due to the size) each terminal does have 2 wire entry points so you don't need to squeeze 2 wires into one. That is its saving grace. However - sorry to say I won't be buying another unless they were cheaper - would rather pay more and get something far easier like a Grasslin!
