When my wife bought this carafe, I was skeptical it would keep coffee warm for even an hour. Was I ever wrong. This carafe actually keeps coffee warm longer than my Zojirushi travel thermos. If you own a Zojirushi, you know just how impressive that is, because their thermoses keep coffee piping hot for 8 hours, easily. So does this carafe. When I dispensed coffee over 24 hours later, it was still warm! I still had to put my cup in the microwave for a minute to get it to proper drinking temperature, but the fact that the coffee was noticeably warm 24 hours after being poured in was unbelievable.

My grandson and I have done a hot chocolate bar the last 2 Christmases. This year I got this pot to avoid microwaving individual cups. It's wonderful. He loves it too. It hold 17 8oz cups. There is a brush too to clean it. No complaints.

How to bring hot coffee for a long road trip has always been something I try to figure out. And all of my coffee mugs suck at this because of the small capacity of them. Each of them is just can hold 12oz at maximum, and bringing multiple coffee mugs out could be a nightmare, especially for a small car. And I have also tried other larger hot drink containers, but they all reuquire you to pour out your drink to a smaller cup, which is not so good while driving. And this dispensser's push button just solved this problem perfectly. Anyone who sits on the backseats could easily get the coffee from the dispensser to the cup but simply pushing the top button, with the car running on highway. So this is certainly a great drink container for road trips, especially when you have a large family.

It’s a nice size carafe which keeps the water warm for a long time. I will definitely use it to serve coffee during holiday family gatherings. It’s not hard to clean either. I am happy with this purchase.

Directions say to preheat container before using to keep beverages warm. What a joke. I have a microwave to warm things up. Keeps coffee warm for a couple of hours. Not hot, warm. Very disappointed, classic case of false advertisement! My coffee mug keeps coffee hot longer!
