Ultimate NATO Long-Nose Flexible Jerry Can Spout/Nozzle, Perfectly Designed for Wavian or VALPRO NATO Euro Military Spec Cans (Red)

I bought this to replace the original that came with the wavian. It’s pretty sad they need to be replaced. For such an expensive gas tank it should have a spout that allows you to pour gas with ease.

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM.IT IS DANGEROUS AND A BAD DESIGNSince VALPRO is mentioned in the title, I bought this thinking it was modeled after VALPRO design, and would share its advantages. It is definitely not. Their answer to the problem of airflow was to simply drill three small holes through the housing into the fuel channel, just where the spout connects to the can. This makes it so that it is almost impossible to tilt or jostle the can even slightly while pouring without getting gasoline all over your hands and the ground.With the real VALPRO spout, the air vent uses a snorkel design which stand proud of the mating surface and the interior of the can, affording you much greater leeway without spilling fuel.This design, on the other hand, leaks copiously every time I've used it. And, yes, I have confirmed that the gasket seal is correct. The seal is fine, it's the vent holes that leak like a sieve. Not only is this wasteful, it's downright dangerous.I will be returning this item and I suggest that anyone who finds this review do themselves a favor and look elsewhere. This is NOT a good product.

Works pretty good. It's a bit hard to latch on, and I cannot get it to latch all the way, but it stays on well enough that it keeps a seal, so far. I have the Wavian Nato jerry can. This is much better that the safety nozzle that came with the jerry can. Now I can tip the can upside-down to completely empty all the diesel out. With the other nozzle I always had about a quarter gallon that would not come out.

I don't write many reviews, but I feel compelled to for this item - it's that bad. I took a chance on it because there were no reviews and other Jerry can spouts had poor reviews.I connected it to my Wayvian Jerry cans (which are awesome, but pour slowly) and as soon as I tipped the can to pour, gas leaked out of this nozzle. It leaked a lot, it's unusable.And I'm pretty handy so I thought: "let me take a look at where it's leaking and seal it with silicone" - I wouldn't really care that it was poor quality and looked like trash if I could fix it and have it not leak.This thing is seriously a piece of trash. The person who assembled it obviously took no pleasure or pride in trying to make a good item and it shows.I wouldn't even give this item to someone I didn't like

Finally, a way to pour gas out of a NATO can..... without spilling it all over. I own a Ural military style sidecar motorcycle which has a NATO fuel can installed for extra fuel capacity. I didn't like using it because of the mess of spilled gas, trying to use a funnel to refill the tank on the motorcycle. But with this nozzle, those days of frustration are OVER! Now I don't have to worry about going offroad or rural areas where there are no gas stations and I can use the NATO can safely. The price is a little steep but, It would probably pay for itself with the cost of all my spilled fuel.

If you are using a wavian nato can, you should have this nozzle before all others. I ordered this as a replacement for one that my father in law drove over with his car. Works great for filling up my truck with a capless gas tank, and this sucker flows fast. There are other types of nozzles available, but if you are using these cans for a vehicle or something where you are emptying most if not all the contents of your can, this is THE ONE to have.

TLDR; build quality is terrible, does not fit in tank fill-up.I bought this thinking it would be better then the stock EPA complaint nozzle and let me tell you it was anything but good. The nozzles base is not even fully welded into the neck causing you to get more gas on you then actually in your tank. Not to mention that it also arrived missing the gasket also the nozzle doesn't even fit down my gas tank neck. If I could give 0 stars I would
