XIKAR Xi3 Redwood

This was a gift but the recipient was extremely pleased with it. He said it’s fantastic and is the best cutter he has ever owned.

Xikar makes quality products. This was a replacement for one lost at my son’s wedding. USPS leaves a lot to be desired (ridiculously long - 2 weeks+ and initially reported delivery 1800 miles away🙄), but does offer lowest cost shipping, making the prices very competitive. Seller was working with me when, after finally requesting a refund, it showed up a couple days later. Great communication despite my initial frustration.

Cutter was beautiful and very sharp

Let me preface my review with the fact that I am not a smoker. However, when I was given a three-piece and a couple fine cigars, I purchased a humidor and a cigar cutter, and tried my hand at it.I appreciate well-crafted products and Xikar's Xi3 is no exception. I went with it after researching other types and brands, and Xikar's other models. In short, it feels good in my hand and the redwood is an excellent, warm touch. Believe me, you'll be tempted to play with it all day, click open then close, click open then close. Of course, it cuts cigars with essentially no effort required.Don't be alarmed if it's slightly stiff out of the box. Read the directions and apply some oil/lubricant where directed. Works like a charm.
