UV bulbs are essential for outdoor ponds.
Perfect replacement and you cannot keep a pond clear of algae without a UV system.The bulbs will last generally 3 to 6 months running 24/7.The water becomes clear the parasites, the algae and harmful microbes are killed.

Well packaged, unknown if they work
We got these to replace a bulb that resides in a pond filter. The one in there burned out, so we got these as replacements. Two were included, well packaged. Sadly, neither one would light up. Unable to test these with any other receptacle as they are for a specific purpose. The original one in the filter only worked for a short time, so it's unknown if it's the filter or the bulbs. The bulbs were visually intact, appeared well made. Will look for a way to test them and update if possible.

Great if it came with directions
Don't bother changing the lights too hard and no directions. I just bought a new unit.
