Works perfectly on 2011 Macbook Pro 13 inch
Easy to install, not sure if this would work in my MacBook as it doesn't list it, but it works perfectly fine. clock speed is lowered automatically to what the RAM is compatible with both sticks showing up as 16 GB works in this macbook model.

Extra ram
Fitted extra ram in my 2009 apple iMac. Works fine, stopped buffering. Great description so was able to order the right one. Great delivery service, good product, unable buy anything locally so used Amazon. Thanks

Laptop Memory
The memory is good quality and reliable so far, but i expected faster speed, it is quite capable and able to run a few apps comfortably. A decent upgrade from the standard memory and worth the initial cost.

Great value - added new life to an old Mac!
We bought this to upgrade the RAM on a mid 2009 15inch MacBook Pro. There were 2 x 2gb in our mac already and we bought these (2 x 4gb) to upgrade it to a 8gb in a total. Completely compatible and is very reasonably priced. It is VERY SIMPLE to update:1.Unscrew the back of the mac (10 in total)2. Remove cover3. In the middle you will see the RAM boards. Click the two grey slots stick at the side to release them4. Remove both boards5. Insert new boards 1 by 1 and click into place.6. Replace cover again7. The laptop most likely will not boot up straight away so leave it for about 15/20 minutes and then try.We have had no issues with these and would definitely recommend. Has given our very Mac a new lease of life and will get a couple of years out of it still.

An improved performance and easy Installation
Decided to upgrade my MacBook Pro 13" mid 2010 from 8gb to full 16gb RAM capacity after researching compatibility. It was a 5 minutes installation. Also have a 1TB SSD.Few days usage and I have noticed speed difference whilst navigating through windows, loading pages whislt surfing and opening apps, but marginal in Photoshop and other apps. Perhaps will notice difference when a number of other more demanding apps are running simultaneously. Will soon be running Windows platform too.Cannot comment on stability yet. Would recommend as an alternative upgrade that will last for another couple of years or so. Highly recommended.

Perfect - upgrade mid 2010 MacBook Pro to 16gb (upgrade OS x to ensure correct drivers)
The 2x 8gb pack is perfect for upgrading a mid 2010 13 inch MacBook Pro to 16gb. Ideally, first replace the original HDD with a SDD (i used a Samsung 860 EVO 250gb from Amazon) and then upgrade the operating system to High Sierra via the App Store. Having done that you will have the correct EFI and drivers to ensure 16gb will work. Then simply remove the old RAM and replace with the new chips and boot up. This product is the right bus speed (1066 MHz) and appropriate voltage (1.5V). Do not be tempted to buy 1600 MHz RAM as this will lead to trouble and likely only one 8gb set will work with an original 2gb or 4gb set giving 10 or 12gb. Using, for example, 2x 8gb Corsair 1600MHz will not boot up and you will just get the boot failure tone.Use these chips in conjunction with a SSD and you will have a speedy machine that will be a vast improvement over the original and give you several years more use.
