This is just what I needed to take back the very limited counter space in my kitchen. There's a huge dead zone of wasted space where my dryer is; this massive cutting board let me re-home a big steamer, air fryer, and knife block. Very happy to find an affordable 40" board!The quality of this board is decent enough for the price. The manufacturer could make it even nicer by upgrading the metal handle to something with rounded edges; I can see the handle hurting your hand with a laden board this big.Mine came with a big ugly scratch on the "top" side (with the manufacturer's metal emblem). I think the emblem looks tacky, so I put that side face-down anyway. This definitely happened before the board shipped though, so quality control could use some work.Other reviewers have mentioned these boards warp. That's true of ALL bamboo cutting boards, if you wash frequently and don't oil often.- Keep the wood well oiled with cutting board oil; if it feels dry, it's going to soak up moisture. Moisture = warping. Walnut oil is best, but any food-safe cutting board oil will do. Even olive oil works in a pinch.- Dry the board thoroughly with a towel after washing; don't let it air dry.- Avoid using serrated knives on bamboo boards; they will cut past your cured / oiled layer and lets moisture in.Oiling the board makes it look so much nicer, too — as you can see in the photo!Also, a PSA that bamboo is a very porous wood, so think twice before using it for raw meats.If you take care of this board and keep it oiled, it should last long enough to get your money's worth. :)

Quality board! Large enough for a good charcuterie board. Recommend!

The first cutting board I received was warped. The replacement one came out of the box, with two large gouges on the top which are sealed over. So apparently the company is fine with this, and left the gouges on the cutting board and simply sealed over them. For $50, I would expect better quality. Would not purchase again 👎🏼

First time ordering: two boards came, one spotless, the other cracked nearly in half!!Second time: I sent the broken one back, and ordered the next one. Came broken again!!!Third time: we'll see . . . ;)The board is beautiful and sturdy (so I am surprised they came broken—but that may be how it was packaged). To be honest, it might be because of the large size. I'm excited to use it, nonetheless and hope the next one will come unscathed.

Very handy to use and store.

I bought this extra large board for my kitchen. It is big enough to roll out a 16 inch pizza, and replaces two cutting boards that I was using.I purchased the wood version and when it came, it was magnificent looking and the quality looked exceptional. I was like a pig in manure. I was so happy. Within two weeks, it developed a split, and every day the split got bigger. It was a horizontal split starting at the edge. I immediately started a return and replaced from Amazon. I re-ordered the bamboo version of the board, and waited for delivery so I could use the box to send back the split board.The bamboo board is even nicer looking aesthetically. Don’t forget this is a 40 x 23“ cutting board I sent the other board back and got an immediate credit and now it’s wait-and-see on the bamboo version.Its under $100 …if I got a couple years out of this I would be happy. So far it is standing up to basic knife work and I follow the cautions about not using it to chop meat or saw.Yesterday I noticed a cut on the edge of the board, my wife says I must have chopped it with a knife, but I don’t remember if I did. I did quite a bit of cooking using the board the other day. It remains to be seen if this Split/cut will get any bigger. I posted a picture of the cut. I was cutting all over the board and there are no similar scratches. This just bothers me, and I might very well return this again. If anyone has any information about this, let me know. I have run my thumbnail over every other area on the board and I feel no indentations but when I run my thumbnail over this split my nail gets stuck.

Bamboo cutting boards seem like the best way to go for us. The plastic ones get stained and always look unsanitary. We have a large bamboo board (14”x20”) that we’ve had for years. We have several plastic ones as well but needed to replace one of the smaller ones. This bamboo one is a good replacement for the plastic one. The surface on this one is very smooth. The strips of bamboo seem well connected and solid. I assume over time it will look and feel like our bigger one as we use this one. It comes with 4 rubber feed that you can stick on it, but we prefer to be able to use both sides so didn’t use the rubber feet. The board can slide around when using it without the feet, but we put a Swedish disk towel under it, and it stays in place. The handle is nice as this one sits in a cabinet and that makes it easier to grab and use. This is a great replacement for a worn-out, dirty plastic cutting board and I’m sure will last years for us.

This is a very nice looking cutting board that I have displayed in a knife holder in my kitchen. When not in use it looks nice and when it is cooking time it works perfectly. Cleans up easy and in my opinion the perfect size. Great product.

I broken my induction stove top twice by dropping things on it. This protects my stove and looks great.

Well made chopping board here. I bring home a lot of pork and beef loins from work and having a big enough board is essential. It looks great and very good value for money.

Ich hab das Brett jetzt seit Dezember 2023 und finde es großartig: die Qualität des Holzes ist sehr gut, es ist schwer und stabil (man kann ein Küchentich drunter legen, dann bewegt es sich nicht einen Millimeter vom Fleck) und sieht imposant aus. Ein Mal im Monat pflege ich es mit Öl; ich würde es sofort wieder kaufen
