Wonderful. Originally bought three. Liked them so much bought three more. Packs are great but they do not stay cold for 8 hours, more like 5-6hrs. When the cold pack comes out of the freezer it is much too cold for me. I like to wrap them up in two separate kitchen towels. Wrap ice pack in kitchen towel like a package tape long side. Wrap additional towel over first one. When it pack begins to thaw remove first towel, then the next. This also helps insulate bags. I am very happy I bought the 12"x 6" size. No more leaky ice bags for me.

I really like the Cryomax. It stays cold for a long time and so you can do multiple icing and then return it to the freezer. It's in a fabric sack that has a velcro strap, which makes it easier to wrap it around the body part you want to ice. I used it many times for tissue at the back of my knee , which was damaged by a torn meniscus. I also used it for my lower back. It seems less convenient for shoulders. If you use it regularly, it lasts about 6-8 mos. and longer for occasional use.

I get really really bad migraines fairly frequently. These ice packs are my go to. I have 8 of them I cycle through. These last longer than any other ice pack I've tried by far, and trust me I've tried many. The only thing is these are harder when frozen than a gel pack, but to me it's still worth it. I've had three in the past that had one of the bubbles leak during the night and it got the pink fluid all over. I still would absolutely recommend if you need an ice pack that lasts for longer periods of time.

I really haven't found any ice packs worth wasting my time reviewing, until this one. Its not a waste of anyone's time, especially if you have chronic pain issues. I have chronic migraines (ice on head, heating pad on neck & back), chronic tendonitis due to EDS, RA, OA, Iliotibial band syndrome, etc. This thing stays cold for a LONG time. I mean HOURS. I've had all these issues for at least a decade with my freezer space being taken up by packs that thaw quickly and freeze at a snail's pace. I won't be drenched by more ice baggies. I have 2 of these with one more on the way. I highly recommend them.

This does remove the pain and i like the strap. But hard to use if I have back pain because it feels all bumpy and is not comfortable when laying on it.
