Worked as expected for me!
I recently got a new cell phone and I wanted to move over any and all existing pictures and videos that were stuck on the internal memory of my other cell phone before it completely died and I'm pretty sure I accomplished that using this 512 GB Samsung micro SD card and right after I moved over all my pictures and videos over my screen went completely black on my phone so I'm happy that I was able to move over stuff from the internal memory of my old phone using SmartThings with the help of a guy over the phone that worked with Samsung because I had some stuff stuck on a secure folder on my internal memory that it didn't know how to move over that was a challenge getting it from there to this SD card to save it but now my new phone and most new smartphones no longer have the capability of an SD card slot so if people want to save any pictures or videos that they really care about they should buy like a flash drive or thumb drive I heard and plug it into their phone and once a month or whatever move over pictures and videos that they want to save because if their phone dies for whatever reason or quits from getting wet or whatever you're going to lose whatever is in the internal memory if it isn't saved anywhere else like the cloud or wherever plus you could lose your phone or have it stolen so it would be good to save stuff to a thumb drive or flash drive or whatever but I still wish phones included the ability to have an SD card slot on the phones so I think that's a mistake for them not to be having that ability anymore like what iPhones have already been doing for a while now Samsung is sadly doing the same practice but this micro SD card worked as expected for me and I recommend it.

A Reliable Powerhouse for Any High-End Device
I've tested a wide range of microSD cards over the years, but the Samsung PRO Plus 512GB stands out as one of the most reliable and high-performing options available. From 4K video recording to gaming and mobile storage, this card delivers consistent speed and durability, making it an excellent choice for professionals and everyday users alike.Real-World PerformanceI put this card through its paces in multiple devices, and it exceeded expectations in every scenario:🔹 4K Video Recording: Installed in my DJI Mini 4 Pro, the card handled 4K 60fps video flawlessly—no dropped frames, no stuttering, just smooth and stable footage. I also used it with my GoPro Hero 12 on a snowboarding trip, where it kept up with high-action shots without skipping a beat.🔹 Mobile & File Transfers: In my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, I transferred over 100GB of 4K videos and high-resolution photos, and the speeds were impressive. With read speeds up to 180MB/s and write speeds around 130MB/s, I didn’t have to wait long for large files to move—something I’ve struggled with on cheaper microSD cards. The A2 rating also made a noticeable difference in app performance and load times.🔹 Gaming & Storage: When tested in a Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch, the card handled large game files effortlessly. No lag, no stuttering—just smooth gameplay and quick load times. With 512GB of storage, I didn’t have to constantly delete old files to make room for new ones.Pros & Cons✅ Pros:✔ High-Speed Performance – Read speeds up to 180MB/s, write speeds around 130MB/s—perfect for 4K recording and high-res file transfers.✔ Reliable for High-End Devices – Works seamlessly with GoPro, DJI drones, flagship smartphones, gaming consoles, and more.✔ Massive Storage – 512GB capacity means fewer worries about running out of space.✔ Durability & Ruggedness – Survived freezing temperatures on a mountain and even a coffee spill without any data loss.✔ Optimized for Gaming & Apps – The A2 rating ensures fast app loading and smooth performance in portable gaming consoles.❌ Cons:✖ Not UHS-II – If you’re a professional video editor working with 8K RAW footage, you may need an even faster card.✖ Premium Price – While not the cheapest option, the performance and reliability justify the cost.Final Verdict: Is It Worth It?If you need a high-speed, high-capacity, and ultra-reliable microSD card, the Samsung PRO Plus 512GB is one of the best options available. Whether you're a content creator, drone pilot, mobile power user, or gamer, this card delivers exceptional performance with no compromises. The Futility of Speed: Memory, Madness, and the Blue Hedgehog’s Curse
In the twilight of civilization, where mankind’s obsession with velocity and digital perfection reaches grotesque extremes, I have encountered this — a memory card emblazoned with the visage of a blue anthropomorphic hedgehog. Sonic. A creature cursed with speed, forever running from existential dread, forever running toward nothing. This device claims a read speed of 180 megabytes per second. Impressive, yes, but ultimately meaningless in a universe that expands into cold silence. The data — our photographs, our fleeting joys, our virtual conquests in the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck — are all stored here, in a wafer-thin shard of silicon and plastic. And still, we are alone.Samsung, the modern-day Prometheus, offers us this 512 gigabyte vessel of memory, promising high-definition clarity and ultra-fast access, as if clarity could save us from ourselves. As if Sonic, that tormented icon of the 1990s, sprinting endlessly through pixelated landscapes, could teach us anything other than the futility of momentum.I inserted this card into my recording device. It functioned flawlessly. A triumph of engineering, yes. But I wept — not from joy, but from the absurdity of it all.Five stars. It does what it must. But God help us for needing it.
