Thick sturdy plastic, compact, solid connections. Better than most.

My older amplifier has dual 12 gauge power and grounds. I needed this to consolidate the 2 wires to 1 on each section. Even though it's listed as a reducer to 8 gauge, it still worked the the 12 gauge wire. Now I can run my 4 gauge power and ground to it.

I used these for my new car audio system in my bmw. They work great and look tough. I'm very happy with them.

Easy to connect and came with the tools to manipulate the connections. The plastic covers seem very easy to knock off or otherwise remove - which seems a bit hazardous. They work and do the job though.

I was looking for a simple power distribution block for some of my aftermarket electronics in my car (2-way radio and a scanner) - and this takes care of my needs. Easy to install, no frills (not brightly colored and easy to hide), and the connections are solid. Very happy with the product!

However they are zinc. Plated copper would be better. The look and feel very solid. Includes inserts 4 4ga,1/0ga, and 8ga. You can use any combination. The zinc is not a real issue just be careful of just how much current you run through them you might have a voltage drop. Everyday users will have no issues. Just not ideal for competition vehicles.
