I bought these gauntlets for protection while handling feral, semi-wild or very frightened domestic cats. They're ideal for this purpose. The leather provides a soft but firm grip, and it helps protect against bites and scratches. The gauntlets reach approximately half way up the forearm.Great gloves for occasional use; but - if intended for frequent use - feral cat handlers may prefer more expensive professional gauntlets.

Bought these to handle the heat from our new fire pit & BBQ. Had my hands right in the center with the poker moving the logs and did not feel the heat. The same for adding more charcoal on when we BBQ, The gloves are dexterous to allow picking up charcoal direct from the bag. The heat & burn protection is superb especially when you are wearing a T shirt.

These are comfortable gloves which seem very well made and protect well. I have had a few pairs for use with my wood burning stove over the last few years and I would say these are the best. Not the cheapest but certainly good value.

Excellent quality and well made. My husband and l have one each for our wood burning stove as he is right handed and l am left handed. A little large for a woman but manageable. Definitely recommended.

Purchased these gloves to go with my log burning stove as the black gloves look much better than standard welders gloves. Unfortunately the standard welders gloves I already have are far better quality and thicker as well as cheaper then these. Clearly aimed at a targeted marker for stoves. Wouldn't be confident using these for welding or picking anything too hot.Disappointed!

Well packaged and prompt delivery. These gloves are ideal for me when using my multi burner stove. Protects my hands and arms. Comfortable to wear too enabling me to handle the fuel not being clumsy in use.

Ideal for use over open fire ,good protection from heatMy only problem is I have small hands so gloves a bit large
